"Simple…the place needs an overhaul it’s as simple as that! You cannot expect guests even for a budget hotel to charge money for the state of the room! It also smells funny and muggy and very dark dingy rooms."

"We had the pleasure of a two night stay in this beautiful country house. We had a warm welcome from Angus, our host, who showed us the guest areas of the house before taking us to see our room. The room, Criffel, was absolutely huge, and very comfortable in a faded grandeur country house style. It is very much not about modern swish high tech styling but if you, like us, prefer something a bit quirky, comfortable, relaxing and unique you will love Cavens. After pre dinner drinks in the lounge in front of the fire, evening meals were delicious- not over the top frills and flounces- just simple good ingredients cooked and presented well (Angus appears to be a very competent sauce wizard!) We enjoyed exploring the local area and were very happy we had booked our stay at Cavens."

Rumsarrangemangen är inte tillfredsställande. En är avlägsen och har ett halvt stort fönster. Den andra är att arrangera rummen efter Trip.com-kommunikationen mindre. Låset öppnas överallt. Fördelen är att frukost är skotsk 😌."

"Vacker B&B precis i centrum av Dumfries.Utmärkt tillgång till många faciliteter och en två minuters promenad till tågstationen.Trots dess plats erbjuder Huntingdon en stor natt sömn. Mitt rum (bilagan) var rymligt och elegant inredda, med alla nödvändiga faciliteter.Det var oförstörligt ren.En mindre grupp var bristen på hylla i duschen.Att försöka hämta schampo från golvet är svårt mitt i duschen. Frukost var mycket bra kvalitet, och de fyllda äggnaden var underbara.Jag skulle noggrant rekommendera detta B&B."
