"Wow. This is an amazing hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive and noted what we did or ate and anticipated our needs at every turn. Even my need for a little jug of milk to take up in the evening for tea in the room was noted and made easy for me :) The pool was amazing- same depth throughout so there was no concern whether anyone could stand at any point. The pool staff - fab. Helped move sun shades, found free sun beds and the free water in a cool box with towels was a thoughtful and very welcome touch. The restaurant staff were equally accommodating - even moving a table outside for us when they were very full one evening. The fresh fish was delicious and the staff helped make sensible decisions as to whether to share given size and cost. We chose to take a cookery class one afternoon and were so pleased we did. Lesley and Lena were so friendly y and welcoming and we learned to make the traditional ear-shaped pasta and simple sauce. It was so good and we have since made some at home and intend to continue trying to make different shapes - not sure shop bought pasta will ever make the grade again! The region too was gorgeous. We only managed to scratch the surface of villages and towns and will need to return to explore more (what a pity!?!). The hotel staff again were incredibly helpful suggesting places - providing information sheets with a brief history and suggested places to see and eat (and park!). They also helped persuade us the best times to go to avoid crowds/heat and make the most of our time. We loved Ostuni, Alberobello and Martina Franco. There was archaeology to visit nearby too and we did take a tour of the closest which was fascinating. We’d like to come back at a slightly cooler time of year to fully explore that aspect of the region. Our only comment would be that the housekeeping was fantastic - turndown service with homemade biscuits). However may be there could be a way of indicating whether towels need to be changed or can be reused to help the ecco criteria? In summary an amazing hotel in a glorious part of the world. Not cheqp but you can see and feel why. Thank you to all at Canne Bianche we had the best holiday!"

"Mycket trevligt hotell, vänligt, hjälpsamt personal.Hotellet var tyst när vi var där i början av juli 2026 och är placerat rakt bredvid Adriatiska havet söder om Bari.Havet, som svepte upp av starka vindar som kraschade in i stenarna vid poolen. Vi hade frukost i middagsområdet varje morgon men försökte inte restaurangen istället för att besöka den lilla hamnen och restaurangerna inom gångavstånd.Vi skulle gå tillbaka till denna ren och fredlig plats bort från buller i en stor stad."

"My family and I stayed here whilst attending a local wedding. The rooms are basic, but they contain all that you need. The shower was really good and powerful. We had breakfast included which included pastries, ham, cheese etc - which was nice. The views from the hotel were lovely and the veranda area where you could have drinks was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a hire car and there was plenty of room for parking. A great hotel for a short break!"

"A jewel in the crown. Surrounded by olive trees, this hotel sits quietly and sublimely in the countryside. Perfect setting for an outdoor wedding and its guests. Food was very nice. Guest room was sparse on furnishings but served its purpose. Front desk welcome by a rude gentleman was a disappointment. Seemed annoyed taking me to my room and did not provide any hotel specifics. Check out young lady was complete opposite. With friendly demeanor, helpful and gracious. Note to hotel-eliminate the slacking guy- you def don’t want to be greeted by that negativity anywhere. But- did not dampen stay whatsoever."

"We have been spending our holidays at this property for years and it is always a happy return. The strong points are certainly the strategic position, the cleanliness, the proximity to the private beach, the sea, swimming pool, bar, everything within reach. Most of the staff are always friendly and helpful. However, the kitchen and the organization of the restaurant room need to be improved. Unfortunately the cuisine is no longer like the old days, the initial vegetable buffet has been eliminated, the fish first courses (with little fish), the side dishes repetitive and not 4 star. Unfortunately the dining room staff was constantly changing and, despite their good will, this created great disorganization and delays. Finally, as always, the Eureka animation was excellent, thanks to Diego and his entire team."

"Masseria San Domenico är ett utmärkt restaurerat 15:e C. gård och villa nära havet omgivet av trädgårdar och olivträd som innehåller århundradens gamla träd. Familjen Malpignano köpte ursprungligen fastigheten som semesterhem med matriarken Marisa Lisi Melpignano som spearheading dess transformation. Efter många år när familjens barn växte upp fattades beslutet att göra fastigheten till ett hotell.För ungefär 15 år sedan byggde familjen den närliggande resorten Borgo Egnazia, som är mycket större och utformad för att simulera en italiensk by. Vi besökte fastigheten men föredrog Masseria San Domenico.Borgo Egnazia välkomnar också barn och familjer. Höjden för mig som en simmare är den 50-meter långa simbassäng som naturligt sätts in i landskapet och delvis fylls med havsvatten.Absolut en glädje att simma in!Gästrum och offentliga områden är smakfullt möblerade. Märkta linne- och toalettkläder, klänningar och slipsar tillhandahålls.Maten är utmärkt!All personal är vänlig och boende.Detta var det sista hotellet på vår cykelresa och definitivt det bästa.Högt rekommenderar och hoppas att återvända! Vi var så förtjusade av fastigheten och Marisa Lisi Melpignanos vision att vi köpte den hektiska volymen som dokumenterade dess historia och utveckling.Familjen har också inrättat en stiftelse i Puglia för att bevara områdets historia och land. Och vi var tvungna att köpa en mängd av deras spektakulära olivolja för att ta hem!"

"Compared to other Masseria in Puglia, this ranks poorly. Everywhere else in Puglia they provide free water daily (it’s 95+ degrees). Here they charge you just for water. Further, the place feels like Disney world. It’s decorations get too hard . Lastly the staff isn’t terribly welcoming. Weird vibes all around. Stay somewhere else when you’re in this beautiful region for more hospitality where they aren’t trying to nickel and dime you for everything in a over decorated Disney land Masseria"

"Our experience in the mass has been, as always, positive. This is our second stay and we decided to go back to enjoy the beauty of the Itria Valley. Massage is located in a strategic location, perfect for visiting the bourgeoises of the area. The owners are always very friendly and very friendly, ready to offer useful advice on the places to visit and to ensure that the stay is as comfortable as possible. However, we stayed during the week of Ferragosto and, unfortunately, we could not enjoy the pool area full, because every day there were partys of outside people. This has a little limited experience of relaxation, in a context where we hoped we could enjoy a little tranquility. A suggestion for further improvement of guests' experience would be to set up the beautiful garden behind the masserie with relaxing areas and a few tables to allow breakfast outside. This space could become a charming corner where you enjoy the freshness of the morning. In general, our experience has been positive and we are not looking forward to returning, hoping that small improvements can make the stay even more special. We strongly advise this massage to anyone who wants to explore the Itria Valley in a friendly and familiar environment."
