River Valley Inn and Suites by Belvilla

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. When I first went to check in the attendant informed me that they requirea $100 cash deposit upon check in and that "I will get it back at checkout as long as nothing is broken or missing from the room.". I paid it and got the key. They never told me what building my room was in so I had to wonder around until found. Then once i entered the room I was instantly taken back because the room was not clean at all, trash everywhere and a pair of dirty shorts made up in the bed. Also there are no phones in the rooms so I had to walk back up to the office to inform them of the error. I was very nice about it and was told... "ummmm, I don't know what to tell you so you can just tell someone about it in the morning." They refused to even offer to clean it or give fresh linens. The latch on the door had been broken off and lock didnt work all the time. I didn't want to even stay there but had no other choice because I had already given my money. That night I slept sitting up in the office chair that's in the room. Soon found out they are infested with roaches. Next morning I was told that they would send the manager down to the room to look ...... NOBODY EVEN SHOWED UP!!! So I decided to clean the room myself and placed all the trash, *********, food and clothes, that was left in the room, into a trash bag and the attendant told me to just place it outside of my door and management will look at it. Then I was told that management never seen anything in the hallway. The following morning when I went to check out, I stripped the bed, gathered all towels, bagged up all trash and wiped everything down before leaving the room. Went to turn in key and attendant told me to " Wait while she checks the room!" Approximately 5 minutes later she shows back up holding 2 towels and the mattress topper. Stated they were gonna charge me for the items because they were stained and she even stated that she scrubbed them and couldn't get the stains out, yet all linens were completely dry. I asked her if I could see the items and some soap because I'd get them clean and she said very rudely... NO, I ALREADY TRIED, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $20 PER ITEM!" THEY STOLE ALL EXCEPT $40 OF MY DEPOSIT BECAUSE NONE OF THE TOWELS FROM MY ROOM WERE STAINED BECAUSE I DIDNT EVEN USE THEM. I BROUGHT MY PERSONAL TOWELS FROM HOME. BUT THEY WOULDNT LISTEN. THEN I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES AT ONCE. I INSTANTLY PLACED A REVIEW ONLINE AND ON FACEBOOK SO HOPEFULLY PEOP3L ARE AWARE OF WHAT THEY DO AND ARE ABLE TO STOP THE THIEVES."

"Would not be a place I would tell my family and friends about the ice machine was so loud you couldn’t hear the man at the desk so it made it to where you had to keep repeating yourself. He was very rude got into the room he gave us there was roaches crawling everywhere and hair in the bathroom on the floor and in the shower the noise from the other guest were very loud the sheets had cigarette burns in them the bed was very uncomfortable I will not stay there at that motel again they took out the sinks and toilets and changed them I think they should have changed and upgraded everything wasn’t very happy"
