"Vi var från 29.04. - 02.05.26 i detta vackra hotell loppstegsutsikten bäst underbyggda. Eftersom vi gillar miljöhuset med skogsutsikt för cykeltur, är vi här för andra gången. Vi har upplevt hur skrämmande servicen är när vi välkomnar den när vi går in i matsalen. Detta är inte vanligt för alla gäster. Maten var alltid varierad och tillräckligt bra. Rum är väl utrustade, mattor i.O. , Dusch går, vilket skulle vara önskvärt att kyla för drycker i rummen. Tack till hotellets chef, som också med sin personalbrist stödde allt med. Även för gäster tog hon tid att fråga gäster och gav gärna rekommendationer för att lyckas med en oförglömlig semesterupplevelse. Ett stort tack från Birgit, Sabine, Volkmar och Michael."

"We spent very nice days with the family at Ahorn Berghotel Friedrichroda. I was last here at DDR times as a child. Some have stayed right, much has changed of course. The rooms have a pleasant size with enough stuff. Very good we found the hall with intermediate door, there is not so much heard from the hall. All was maintained and clean. At breakfast it was quite full and we had some very far ways. Specially good we found the waffle station. In the evening we had mostly eaten outside or in the panoramic restaurant, here the food was always very good and the staff very friendly and attentive. Specially good we liked the outdoor pool. Also the indoor swimming pool with a small kids area and large swimming pools has been very good for us. My grandmother could even complete her silver swimming sign here. Outside there is a huge jump kit, minigolf and a beautiful playground. For bad weather there are game rooms for different age classes and even a cinema. A negative point is the parking fees that should be free at a hotel. The top parking is costing 9 euros per day and the lower parking is 4 euros per day. For children and families there are various activities, for example a walk with subsequent warehouse fire with stockbread and marshmallows or bastle.... We would book the hotel again."
