"The Cornerhouse was a fantastic find. Beautifully situated and wonderfully maintained, with spotless rooms and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The husband and wife who run the hotel are genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality really set this place apart. Easily one of the nicest places to stay in the area, and it will certainly be our first choice when we return. Highly recommended!"

"We visited in March 2024! The host could not have been more welcoming and hospitable! It felt like being welcomed into their house (in all the best ways possible). The history of the building is amazing - that being said, the rooms are very modern, clean and spacious! There is a lovely variety of breakfast items both on the menu and a selection of cereal, toast and fruit! The full English was so nice that I had it twice! Located in Frome, we were blown away by the brilliant town centre and variety of pubs and restaurants! We visited over my birthday (visiting the spa at Centre Parcs) - a family member had called in advance and arranged for a bottle and some sweet treats to be in my room. The host really did go above and beyond to make our stay a 10 out of 10. Thank you! If we are ever passing through Frome, we will stay again"

"We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time at The Cornerhouse. Very conveniently placed for the town and station and with free parking at the rear of the hotel. The double room was quite spacious with a short hallway inside the main room door leading to the bathroom and on to the bedroom. So more than an ensuite and a nice touch. The room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The only downside was the creaking floorboards from the room above which we quickly got used to, although others may not. We stayed during a heatwave so slept with windows open meaning traffic noise was quite obvious. This was silenced with the windows closed. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful with nothing too much trouble from 'Check In' onwards with an insistence of carrying our cases to our first floor room. Breakfast was excellent too. The owners are lovely and we wish them well with their future plans for the Cornerhouse."

"Wonderful 3 day stay. Joss and the team couldn’t do enough for their guests and were very knowledgeable about the local area. The room was quirky, with a lovely comfortable bed and fluffy pillows and the bathroom was massive with a bath and walk in shower. Plenty of tea and coffee plus biscuits in the room too. The breakfast room is lovely and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The grounds are beautiful but unfortunately we didn’t see much of the view as the weather was awful! We ate at the local pub which is a 5 minute walk away and Sam the landlord and chef, also cooks the breakfast at the guest house as both locations are run by family. Would definitely stay again"

"Söta och rena rum, bra parkering och vänlig personal.Mycket tyst i rummet, rummet hade allt du behövde.Tjänsten på den angränsande puben på den första natten var hemsk. Sat i 40-minuter innan man frågade om vi ville ha en drink medan tre anställda stod runt och pratade ... inte alls bra.Vi såg andra människor gå ut på grund av detta.Den andra kvällens måltid och personalen var briljant."
