"A little known of gem in the heart of George. The staff make the stay extra special as they go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met. - Monique sorted out our check in issue, always very friendly. - The breakfast team sorted our out dietary requirements, Anwin was great with the kids - Dillon made drinks to order. There could be more activities in the kids area and give it a make over, the dart board needs upgrading but there is table tennis and a pool table. Our room was on the first floor, no lifts so bear that in mind. the rooms are spread out - it is not one big hotel, but a cluster of units. Lots of green space in between for kids to play."

"My wife and I recently escaped to Arendsrus for a quick breakaway, and it was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels "off-the-grid" and immersed in nature without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The setting at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains is spectacular. The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a "wilderness" vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!"

"Vilket fantastiskt hotell sovrum med fantastisk utsikt på 2 sidor Badrum var fantastiskt och säng så bekväm!Söt touches som te köptes till rummet på morgonen för att börja dagen!Matsalen hade också fantastiska strandutsikter och personalen var söt. Frukost var en blandning av buffé och varmt förberedda val.Ät här på kvällen och även om inte den stora menyn kan säkra att det är riktigt bra.Privat parkering men smal och upp berg så titta på låg vägg."

"Rummet är perfekt rent, med nya möbler, mattor och sängar.Receptionspersonalen är vänlig och effektiv när det gäller att lösa alla frågor.Jag vill dock ta upp rummets design, som är mycket kontorsliknande. Jag tror att ett ljusare färgschema skulle göra rummet mer inbjudande.Dessutom känner jag mig ledsen för er personal, eftersom de behandlas orättvist.Mann utanför tvingas stå på porten hela dagen för att öppna porten! Oavsett vädret, vare sig det är varmt och solsken eller kallt och vind, har han ingen plats att sitta.Varför sätter du honom inte i ett separat rum där han kan sitta? Och sätta en kamera på porten, så att när han ser en bil närmare sig, kan han öppna porten.Det är en enkel lösning!Har inte mottagaren ens en stol?Hur är det möjligt?Om hon är trött eller har svullna fötter, hur kan hon hälsa på gäster? Det spelar ingen roll om hon sitter.Men det spelar ingen roll om hon sitter!Ta bättre hand om din personal, och de kommer att återvända till tjänst! Jag hoppas verkligen på positiva förändringar i ditt hotell och för dina anställda!"

"Outeniqua Inn is located on a busy road in George, and offers 7 modest rooms. The guesthouse has had it best days some years ago. Management uses old photos that do not reflect the current condition. Furnishings and decoration provide an indifferent atmosphere. Free parking on the premises. Our small room had air-co, TV high on the wall, wardrobe & safe, 140cm size bed, tea making facility, desk, and fridge. Windows can be open but do not have mosquito screens. We had a small, yet adequate bathroom with washbasin, toilet, and shower. All was clean. Between 07:00 and 09:00 an English breakfast is served: eggs made to order with bacon, mushrooms & sausage, toast, cups of butter & marmalade, tea & coffee. No yoghurt, no orange juice. Service is more interested in smartphone than in guests. Outeniqua Inn is OK for one night stay. Nearby you find better options."

"The Garden Route in South Africa's Western Cape is certainly one of the most beautiful regions in a country that is not short of wonderful landscapes. And Wilderness is one of the most beautiful places there. If your trip takes you there, then we can definitely recommend the Boardwalk Lodge for an overnight stay. Situated in a slightly elevated position and just a few minutes' walk from the beach, the rooms are individual cottages nestled in the greenery like chalets. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. All important areas, such as the charming breakfast room, can be reached via wooden stairs. The two owners, Chris and Melissa, have created a real gem in one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. And there's no doubt that we'll be returning here on our next visit to Wilderness. "Beside Still Waters is such a beautiful & peaceful place to stay. The hosts Ronelle and Stephaan are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lovely cottage with 4 adults. It was very comfortable and clean. Enough space with a very nice veranda and a wonderful view of the Bo Langvlei lake. We enjoyed the amazing sunsets and birdsinging in the beautiful garden. Lots of nice things to do in the neighbourhood. Lovely beaches, the nearest is only a 5 minute drive. Very good restaurants. Nice hikes, birdwatch, kayaking. Great markets, on Wednessday @ Rondevlei and on Saturday @ Sedgefield. Highly recommended. We loved staying there. "
