"Road Lodge Isando is a great spot for solo travelers or couples. The rooms are small but super clean — bedding is fresh and it even has a heater inside which was a big plus. Breakfast is included too. The front desk staff are amazing. They really go the extra mile to help you with anything you need. It’s only about 5-10 minutes from the airport by car. The lodge doesn’t have its own shuttle, but they helped me arrange one for R150. Super easy, no stress. Overall, clean, cozy, helpful staff, and convenient location. Would definitely recommend!"

"Service from front desk could have been better.i stayed overnight with a group tour after a long flight from the USA. After eating a pretty good meal at the hotel, when I returned to my room, my door key did not work. After several tries I hiked back to the front desk. The receptionist (I think her name was Winnie but not sure), insisted I did not know how to use the card key. She sent someone back with me who also couldn’t open the door. He left to seek help and did not return after more than ten minutes while i stood in the hallway. I went back down to the front desk and was informed we somehow missed each other in the hallway. I went back to my room where I’d left two drinking glasses on the floor and came upon two men working on my door. Turns out the card reader battery was low. If the receptionist had not assumed me too dumb to figure out how to slide a room key in and out of a slot, she might have done a better job of helping me so I wouldn’t have to stand in the hallway in front of my room for an excessive period of time."
