"I wanted to visit the SARAKAWA hotel as a guest to practice my swimming lessons. I was refused access to the hotel by security guards at the entrance for the simple reason that I am black. In an African country, I am surprised by such practice, however, I was in an SUV car. The worst part was that the agents asked me what I was going to do at the hotel. Funny question for a hotel that is supposed to welcome the public."

"I request a drink a martini, accidentaly it felt because my arm was sticked in the table plastic marker...The employees saw it and clean it after I kindly asked if it was possible to give me another one...one of the employees was cool but other went to talk loud about tge situation to a colleague in my table. I did not like it and told him that it was not ok to talk like that...since I was quite ok with the situation despite sad to loose a drink. The service will improve if avoiding these type of situations."

"Vi stannade med två barn. Jag betalade på förhand online och gick för att hitta den. Vid receptionen bad vi om en extra avgift för två barn när de betalade. Anledningen är att det inte inkluderar två barn när man betalar online.Att kolla på nätet är priset samma även om man kolla två barn. Våra barn är tre eller fyra år gamla. Det fanns inget annat tillägg, som att lägga till sängar eller handdukar.Receptionen säger att du måste betala en extra avgift för att du inte har kontrollerat. Slutligen, om jag hade kontrollerat två barn i förväg, skulle jag ha använt det till samma pris, men jag lagt till en extra 5000-f-avgift som säger att jag inte kontrollerade det. När jag kom in bekräftade mottagningen två barns ålder, och det fanns ingen särskild hänvisning.Men när jag lämnade sa jag att jag måste betala.Jag förstår inte processen. Maten är söt.Rummen är också rena. Endast mottagningssvaret förstås inte. Kontrollera allt i förväg och gå in."

"Overall amazing hotel! The staff is super friendly, they were extremely flexible regarding check in and check out, and gave us a free upgrade of the room. The room itself was great too, with a view of the beach, and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious!"

"Marcelo beach did one major thing that I did not like: the rooms were advertised as sea view when in fact they are not. I was always late for breakfast so perhaps that's why I was less than excited about their remaining offerings. The lunch and dinner food was also average. The redeeming factors for me were 1st their incredibly expansive, clean beach with interesting features such as the wave breaker. 2. The service was also lovely, the ladies especially Leonce, made me feel so at home. She spoke to gozem drivers, helped me arrange activities and items that I needed. I stayed in another hotel while in Lomé and while I loved the luxury there, I truly missed the home feel the service provided. "
