"For our one week stay, we expected a good place in this relaxing and historical town. We got so much more ! Excellent service, a stunning SPA facility and, cherry on top a great cake, an incredible restaurant. The food quality, variety end presentation could not have been better. The chef, that has been there for 30 years, definitely deserves a Michelin star. We'll surely go back. Best months to go are May or October. Avoid July and August, too hot and too crowded."

"We stayed one night at the Castello just before Christmas and enjoyed it immensely! It combined old world charm with modern comforts, with delicious meals as well! The rooms were warm and spacious, with decor that makes you feel you’ve just stepped into a fairy tale. The staff were friendly and accommodating, addressing our many queries in the months leading up to the stay; and while we were there, granted us access to the old tower for breathtaking views. Wished we could have stayed longer. "This hotel always answered my messages very quickly and both in writing and when there they understood that I was a learner of Italian and let me practice my average Italian. We arrived about 9.30pm on a Sunday night after a slightly delayed flight. I had already cancelled our planned three course dinner but we were hungry and they were very kindly able to offer us a sandwich. The receptionist that evening was very accommodating as was the man in charge in the restaurant. Our room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy, blackout blind worked perfectly as did the air conditioning. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet service and was fine. The man on reception, possibly the owner/manager, was again very kind and helpful. We were allowed to leave our car there whist we explored beautiful Gubbio which we loved. Overall we were very impressed."

"Detta var vårt andra besök till Gubbio och San Marco Inte den mest attraktiva byggnaden men låt inte det kasta ut dig från riktigt bra hotell, allt var bra från personalen till rummet Vi var välkomna av Roberto och vilken stjärna han är, Inget för mycket för honom, och han verkade alltid vara omkring på de tre dagar vi stannade där. En fem minuters promenad till stan, på lördag var vi där de hade en så stor marknad jag någonsin sett många första klassrestauranger i alla stora vistelser, och om vi återvände till Gubbio skulle vi inte stanna någon annanstans."
