"The room furniture is very old and desperately needs an upgrade. This is especially true for the sanitary facilities, which might have been modern 40 years ago. On the other hand, the bed is excellent, and the breakfast is very rich and varied. From the outside, the hotel has the charm of Eastern European 1970s architecture. Well, not much can be done about that."

"If I could rate this hotel higher I would. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Room was newly remodeled, very stylishly and super clean. Location was amazing and the staff was great. The room was very large and had a small kitchen to boot. Parking was in the public parking garage about 1 block from the hotel…cost was about 4.5 euro. Online photos do not do this hotel justice. It was simply amazing. You will not be disappointed. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was very good."

"This boutique hotel is in a very excellent location to explore the city. It is just a few minutes walk to the Basilica or the river. We loved walking around the area. The entrance to the hotel is off the Main Street, and it is easier to look for the associated cafe than it is the hotel. The cafe is only marginal, but the hotel breakfast was great with made-to-order eggs/ omelettes,. There is a pot of coffee which this American really appreciated! There are also complimentary cookies and tea upstairs available at all times. The staff was very helpful."
