"Detta motell kommer att betraktas som understandard av de flesta människor som vill stanna med dem över natten.Jag kommer inte att vara för kritisk eftersom det var bara en övernattningsvistelse för mig, på väg hem. Men jag kommer aldrig att stanna här igen, det finns andra platser i prisområdet och i denna del av korridoren I-95 som är mycket trevligare.Denna egendom verkar vara under någon form av renovering.Vid utcheckning såg jag rumsstatusrapporten på frontdesk. Jag antar att de hyr cirka 15 rum per natt med resten av rummen i fastigheten stängda för renovering. Jag vet att renoveringar pågår eftersom jag upplevde grävljud och andra konstruktionsljud när jag checkade in, strax över huvudet."

"This was our 2nd visit here & we are so glad we came back again!! The previous exceptional customer service brought us back to their hotel. From the agents at the front desk Ebony and Denise to the manager Samantha. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those travelers who have a service animal. The rooms are clean always, the beds are comfy and the pillows are amazing! The included breakfast is an added plus and the breakfast room was exceptionally clean as well! The parking lot is well lit and has security doors to enter. When traveling I would definitely make this Country Inn & Suites the place to rest your head!"

"I stayed at the Scotland Neck in August, 2023 and was very disappointed. The price was very reasonable, the TV and WiFi worked well and check-in was easy and pleasant, but I could find little else good to say. The building and décor are very dated and offer little in the way of amenities. They have a breakfast room, but it is piled high with stored furniture and fixtures and no breakfast of any kind – not even coffee. (Don’t believe the photos displayed!) My room was spacious but with old furniture that showed its age. The wooden arms of the desk chair were sticky to the touch, even after wiping them down with an antiseptic wipe, as were the surfaces of the desk and night table. There were no hand towels or tissues in the bathroom. The toilet was loose and rocked on the floor with excess dirty caulking at the base and stains from leaks on the floor tiles. I think the only reason the Scotland Neck Inn does any business, is that they are the only hotel in the area. The hotel lost power twice in the afternoon and evening for about 4 hours total after a thunderstorm. Not sure if it was the local power grid that was sensitive or the hotel that had issues. But losing power and AC on a 90+ degree day was not pleasant! I will certainly look elsewhere and drive farther if necessary to find lodging the next time I am in the area. "

"What a dump. At least the bedding seemed clean and there were sufficient towels and an extra roll of toilet paper! Smelled terrible so we turned the air on and put tge fan on high. No free coffee or anything else. Won't stay here again but it was the cheapest place in town."
