Tui Blue Palm Beach Hammamet

"Just returned from a lovely 7 nights at this wonderful hotel, The Palm Beach was all we expected and more, The hotel staff were all fabulous and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay which coincided with our 1st wedding anniversary was both memorable and enjoyable, The food was exceptional with a great varied selection at each serving all served hot and looked as appettizing as indeed it was make sure you leave room for dessert as they were all yummy, We really enjoyed our visit to the Culinarium restaurant on our actual anniversary and the restaurant team went out of their way to mark the occasion, All the bars were well staffed and you never waited long for a drink which was nearly always then brought over to your table, I was particularly impressed that the bar staff knew what you wanted before we even ordered. The room we stayed in wasn't exactly what we asked for but it was clean tidy very well maintained through the week and nice and quiet. Can't comment on the entertainment team as this really isn't our thing but everyone seemed to enjoy what the team had to offer, We didn't venture out of the hotel we just wanted a chilled out week but lots to see and visit if that's your thing. This was our 1st visit to a Tui Blue hotel it certainly won't be our last, John & Lynne"

"It was my second time there and again happy with everything. The rooms were fine nothing to say about it, the program through the day is great. You’ll get used to the food, it’s not that bad. At night the program from the animation team is great, for the kids and later for “adults”. Other stuff is very friendly. Will come there again for sure!!!!"

Hotel Residence Mahmoud

"Just come back from Residence Mahmoud Hammamet. Please don't book. This is not a good hotel. It is open to the public and the bar is open till early hours of the morning. Very noisy. We changed room 4 times for different reasons. My watch was taken on the 2nd day from our room. Some rooms do not have a safe and it was not explained that the safe is at reception. Food was awful we booked half board. We had to pay for water with our meals. Every evening you had an option of 3 choices and the same dessert every night water melon or honey melon. It says at the front of the hotel that there is security there isn't wifi is difficult to get in most rooms. No entertainment as it states on the holiday advert. It also says there is a spa there is not. The pool was not very clean so keep your head above water. We all had stomach problems and had to buy medication. Please just book somewhere else."

"We arrived on Saturday evening, check in was smooth, staff shown us where we could get food as it was after dinner. Animation staff are fantastic, little Si always with the humour. Getting you involved during the day. They work long hours but always smiling. The older man behind the bar was so funny, always saying thing in Scottish. Food was OK, much the same each day but that doesn't actually bother us as we tend to go out in the evening. Rooms were always clean. I did find it weird for an all Inclusive that they didn't have snacks and ice cream for kids during the day but then I have never been to Tunisia so that on me. Would definitely recommend the hotel."
