"The hotel is basic. Beautiful views. Very helpful people. I had locked myself outside the room after hours of their reception but they came and helped me out which was much appreciated. The room facilities are simple, nothing luxury about the experience but i suppose it’s the best hotel you will find in the city."

"Absolutely spectacular! Facing the sea with snow-capped mountains in the background, although there's little snow, it doesn't detract from the view. Just 5 minutes from the city center, a quiet and beautiful world! The rooms were spacious and comfortable; we stayed for a week… but the hotel hasn't replied to my emails? No solution?"

"Det är mycket viktigt att bo här om du planerar att åka till Kakula, och det är mer som att gå till sevärdheter.För det ger dig en annan reseupplevelse.Hushållet är för entusiastisk, det är ett varmt, litet trähus, du ser en ren pris, så det är inte dyrt, landskapet är mycket bra. Jag har saknat dem för att få husägaren att ta dig till hennes gård och leka med hennes husdjur.Tvivla inte på att boka snabbt, det finns en hel bok."

"Amazing accommodations with beautiful views, wonderful food and fantastic hospitality! We stayed in two of the treehouses. Not many stairs, but high enough for beautiful views of both the countryside and the ocean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great amenities including a cozy seating area with a fireplace. Both breakfast and dinner were included, and were beautifully presented and delicious using so many ingredients from their own farm. Lots of great cocktail options and a nice area to enjoy drinks before dinner. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. Close enough to Kaikoura to enjoy all the activities there, yet unique and special. One of our favorite stays in NZ!!"
