"Besökt för kvällsmål i september.Personal var söt och välkomnande och vi fick ett val av bord i det lägre middagsrummet.Våra huvudmåltider (Mac&Cheese pie, Steak &Ale pie) var briljanta!Smakfulla, med vackert kött och stora tillbehör. Pudding (citroninnehavare och äpplen krumbla) skulle dö för, särskilt den innehavare som serverades med en kryddig svart-currant-kulis.Högt rekommenderar denna stora pub med mat som är definitivt en skärning ovanför."

"Unfortunately after a really nice stay there was some confusion as to whether or not our breakfast was included. After being advised that it was, we all sat down to our breakfast cereal and tea. Once we were half way through eating we were told that there had been a mistake and breakfast wasn't included. We offered to pay for what we had had, but were told that we needed to pay £15 each, as even though we had only had cereal and a pot of tea we needed to pay for a full English too. We did actually pay this amount (£75 in total) but were later advised that as a gesture of good will we would be reimbursed. Unfortunately this still has not happened even though I have contacted them 3 times. I am still waiting for a reply. Such a shame. We won't be staying again"

"The whole experience was superb, from the welcome accommodation, and the breakfast. The accommodation was so clean, bed so comfortable, beautifully decorated, had a lovely seating area in our room looking out at the veiw. Would definitely go back"
