"Excellent location close to the square and the Menin Gate. Lovely room, although layout a little strange with sink in the room and separate wc and shower. Shower wasn't as clean as we would have liked and leaked out into the room, so perhaps the design needs addressing. Really comfortable bed and complimentary water was appreciated. Bar closed at 10.30pm."

"Stor plats för stan och det är attraktioner.Mycket ren och tidig, stor personal.Frukost fylld och trevligt presenterad.Rummen mycket ren, luftkonditionering fungerade bra.Bara nedan var vårt rum (32) bara hade ett litet fönster vid taket höjd. (Vi blev förra gången förstörda med ett stort fönster som tittade ut på Cloth Hall).Förutom att vi definitivt skulle stanna här igen på våra regelbundna besök i området."

"These brand-new rooms are located on Boterstraat, a stone's throw from the Grote Markt. The Menin Gate is just over five minutes away, and you can park for free at Minneplein, which is a 450-meter walk away. We had the 'Family Father' room, which means you have to climb three steep flights of stairs and another flight of stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The rooms were clean and modern with coffee facilities. Power outlets are available next to the beds. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit on the thick side. And the space around the bed was a bit cramped. The friendly host sent a WhatsApp message on the day of arrival with the codes to get in, which worked perfectly. From the balcony, you have a view of the Cloth Hall and the cathedral. Unfortunately, breakfast is not available there, but there are plenty of options nearby. There was one hook in the bathroom; otherwise, there was nothing to put your clothes or belongings on."

"There are many negatives here that have been highlighted by previous travellers and yet no attempt to fix by the owner. The internet wifi is unusable. It takes nearly 5 minutes to download a search for local restaurants or 3 minutes to download a simple email from gmail. You need your own data plan. The price of breakfast is ridiculous at EUR 20 which defeats the point of a “BnB”. There is a trip hazard when you walk in the door. I rolled my ankle on the gap in the entrance foyer . The street noise is unbearable until 11pm as the property is located on a main road that has cobble stones. Our room was not serviced during our stay, which makes you feel like it is a basic Airbnb apartment, not the boutique hotel as advertised on their website. The location is good and parking is close , but communication with the owner is poor and I would recommend a local hotel rather than returning here."

"The food was very tasty and good value, only downside was when we visited the restaurant wasnt open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for evening meals. Breakfast is fantastic though, a very varied choice and you can eat as much as you like. Rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds, the rooms are serviced every day."
