Experience of Stay: BELOW AVERAGE (large room for Frontline Service Staff to improve its service to be more organized delivery of items inclusive in the booking & check-in Processes not to miss out), 6. Overall: AVERAGE (Frontline Service Staff, Ms. XIA & Room Service Manager have recognized their shortcomings & promised to make remedial action but still failed to deliver by the reason of too busy as mentioned by the Frontline Service Team)"

"Rummet var rent och mysigt, beläget mitt i Xitang byn super bekvämt!Jag fick lite förlorat först eftersom du måste köpa en biljett för att komma in i området, men hotellpersonalen var mycket hjälpsam. Chefen kom till och med för att träffa mig och hjälpte mig att hitta vägen.Bra upplevelse överallt!"

"Very nice hotel... well located, inside the walls of the histroic water town, but in a quiet part, away from the hustle of the crowded streets. Room was clean and easily large enough.. with good lighting and private toilet/shower, and daily room service. The buffet breakfast, included in the room price was very good. I speak no mandarin; so I had to communicate with the reception/front desk staff using translate on phones. The front desk staff were wonderful... cheerful, helpful. They went to great lenghts to explain to me how to obtain and buis ticket to Shanghai, where to catch the bus and so on... also the same staff were extremely helpful with day to day questions. The only strange or negative thing is that when shown the room, it looks wonderful as it includes a small private verandah with table and chair. However, there is a fixed wire screen preventing the inhabitant from accessing the room's verandah... kind of strange and certainly a negative"

"My short two days stay is the end, but feel reluctant to leave—really wish I could stay a little longer, This is the most wonderful Jiangnan water town I have ever visited—Xitan—natural,nostalgic, and peaceful.Everything here from food to accommodation, is incredibly convenient. The “Lao BanNiang” hostess is warm,attractive and thoughtful,making me feel the warmth of home even while traveling. In this fleeting journey of life,meeting kind and hardworking people is a true blessing and a stroke of fate. Xitang is beautiful because of its scenery, and genuine because of its people. I’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time."

"Love Xitang because of this hotel. The balcony is directly beside the river with breathtaking views. The hotel has free hanfu costumes experience and we just paid a little extra for makeup and photographers to follow us around in the village. Love this hotel"
