"In a beautiful part of Southern Ireland this very modern yet very comfortable house was a delight. Not the easiest place to get to but well worth it with views across the sea. our hostess was very friendly and obliging. My advice would be to get there from Wednesday onwards as Murphy’s restaurant within walking distance which is highly recommended, only does light bites on Monday and Tuesday. However O’Connor’s , only 6 minutes drive away was a quaint little pub, catering mainly for walkers."

Salmon Leap Farm B&B

"Sean was welcoming friendly and very helpful. Salmon Leap is a more traditional place to stay than some tourists might want, but it was fine for us. Pretty location in a valley, not too far from Killarney (20 min drive). Delicious local sourced food very nice indeed in sensible portion sizes but Sean is more than happy to provide more if wanted- the breakfast including the coffee was savage (very nice!). Internet works ok which helps as there’s no mobile signal in the valley. Sadly couldn’t get the TV channels to work in the room but there’s a TV in the lounge, and you can use the room TV to watch YouTube/netflix/prime but you’ll need to log into your account which we couldn’t do as they wanted to send security code to our phone- which had no pickup. Didn’t spoil our stay in this lovely farmhouse BnB. Oh and the beds are sooo comfy. And the decor is perfect for visitors as a slice of traditional ireland :) bring your own shower gel/ shampoo, and there was no tea/coffee facility we could find in our room, but neither affected us. We’d really recommend as long as telephone contact and TV don’t matter. Nice."

"David and Doreen were wonderful hosts in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The Tides, located in Ballybunion, is close to the ocean and not far from the interesting town of Listowel. The Tides is also a great base for exploring the Dingle peninsula, and even the Ring of Kerry. The amazing shower and comfortable bed in room 6 are simply wonderful!, and the breakfast is gorgeous! Don't hesitate to book your stay here!"

"Cirean vår värd var utmärkt!Hon välkomnade oss när vi anlände och visade oss vårt rum och hus.Hon frågade när vi skulle vilja frukost och tog vår beställning.Rummet var trevligt och rent.Vi stannade i rum 2 och hade vackra utsikter ur fönstret! Cirean rekommenderade platser att äta och gav oss tips och rekommendationer om platser att se på vår resa!Mat på Lobster Bar i centrum!Vi njöt av en lobster middag och fisk och chips, mycket rekommenderad!!! Gåde för en lopp på morgonen, mindre än en mil till stan och sprang på en väg rakt vid vattnet.Kaffe för frukost var mycket bra!Frukten på pannkakorna var mycket färsk och smakfull!Pannkakorna var mycket bra.Salmon och skrammelägg också utmärkt!! Under vistelsen såg vi ett antal regnbågar runt om i området!!Vi skulle vilja besöka igen en gång :-) Vi besökte gåvobutiken bredvid dörren och köpte flera gåvor som de skickade gratis med en €100 köp."
