"This is our second year visiting this hotel and we came back as it was so family friendly. The staff are incredibly friendly and really do make the stay. We used the Maro club every day and our daughters are in love with Maro, the Hermet Crab! The pools are very safe and there are lots of good splash bits for smaller kids! They make a big effort to make sure people with small children don’t feel out of place, they have selections for baby’s and the adult food it good. Honestly it wasn’t great we wouldn’t have come back it is just a lovely environment. Big shout out to the ladies that man the Maro club, they are amazing!"

"Mycket högt pris.Folk sa att boendet och frukostnaden var mycket bra, men det var skräp.Paret som körde platsen brydde sig inte om kunden.Det är inte tillåtet att röka i huset, men naturligtvis gjorde de det. Även i rummet var allt stinkt och vi var tvungna att be om ett annat rum uppe, bara för att inte inhalera röken.Även sängen jag fick, en fold säng, saknade några träplankor. Ägaren sa att hon inte såg det, men jag är säker på att hon fortsätter att försöka använda sängen, och om någon ser det är brutet, så ersätter de det. Samma med ljuset i rummet, sa hon att någon skulle komma i morgon för att fixa det, men jag är säker på att de fortsätter att säga samma till alla, eftersom energikostnaderna kommer att vara lägre.Även moskitonätet bröts och vi hade en mycket dålig sömn. Frukost var så mycket fattig att vi bestämde oss för att inte äta många av det, förmodligen var de kvar. I slutet av när vi checkade ut och vi är tvungna att betala en extra 30€ för den foldbara sängen, och på *********** de säger: inga ytterligare kostnader för ditt 17-åriga barn.Efter några samtal för att se till att det inte är falskt, bestämde vi oss för att betala. Vi betalade för vistelsen med kort, och ägaren sa att vi måste betala den extra 30€ med kontanter, vilket naturligtvis betyder att det fortfarande är vanligt att betala under bordet.Vi sa att det inte är lagligt, och hon ”backed off” och sa att det är OK. Så i slutändan kan vissa hitta det en bra plats och vissa inte, på grund av vissa faktorer, som den rena simbassäng."

"This hotel has a great location on the pedestrian promenade of Rabac, with numbered parking spaces allocated to guests on the road behind which is great (you're given a key for a padlocked space on arrival, if you advise them in advance that you will have a car). Breakfast (included in our rate) was a good buffet selection with particularly nice fresh sliced fruit and fresh bread to slice yourself. Breakfast staff were very helpful and provided hot drinks and were generally very on the ball. Our double bed was comfortable. Rooms feel rather corporate and impersonal but are fine. Standard rooms are below the level of the walkway so you only have a sea view when standing up but it was nice to have chairs out on our own section of terrace even if not private, given people can look down on you from outside! If you want more privacy, ie a room with a balcony on a higher floor, then you need to choose a more expensive room category. The terrace gets the sun most of the day so is very hot, with the glass screen by the walkway keeping any breeze away. There were no proper chairs inside our standard room, just one stool by the desk/mirror table. There is however a wardrobe complete with minibar fridge and kettle and supplies for hot drinks, plus a safe. A complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room on our 1st day but not replaced on our second day. It was a shower over the bath. Personally we prefer walk in showers, but it was a decent pressure and hot. Plenty of dining options very close by, plus a bakery next door. Just to note that reception was a bit odd - it was not obvious from outside as we approached. It turns out that the reception office is really just a cubicle inside a door marked with room numbers. Once inside, then there's a round table marked Reception immediately outside of the cubicle, but it would be good to have a Reception sign on the outside wall to help new arrivals know they've come to the right door! But once we were in, both receptionists we met were helpful. Beach towels are available on request from reception and we spent a day on the main Rabac beach which is 5 mins walk around the promenade. It's a pebble beach but we were pleasantly surprised to find that just a few metres out there was a lovely sandy bottom. 2 sun loungers and a sunshade were 25 euros to rent for the day. There's a decent pizzeria behind, belonging to one of the big hotels, where we enjoyed a pizza and Greek salad lunch. If you prefer small hotels then the Adoral is for you - there are some huge hotel complexes locally which seemed popular with families but they aren't our thing, so we were pleased with our choice! Rabac is a busy small resort but is surprisingly scenic, set at the end of a valley below Labin, and there's a nice harbour area just around the corner from the hotel with some bars and more restaurants. We used the local tourist "train" to scope out the local area on arrival - it costs 3 euros for an adult single ticket and r"

"This is our second stay and pleased to say that the visit was as good as we remembered. The room was large and comfortable and we were lucky to have the balcony for outside space. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food is excellent, freshly prepared and of the highest quality. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made this another memorable stay. The Peteani offers a good location for visiting some of istria’s inland sites but also only an hours drive to Pula and Rovinj and more touristy areas."

"Vi har tillbringat en natt i detta hotell under en roadtrip. Det är svårt att hitta (endast Google Maps är belägen korrekt) men vi faller under charmen redan vid ankomsten. Det är ett charmigt litet hotell i en privilegierad miljö, helt lugnt. Välkommen är extremt varm och trevlig. Rummet är grundläggande och lite gammalt men det är rent och inget saknas. Läderna var lite för hårda för vår smak. Vad som har ställt oss för en verklig fråga är luftkonditionering som är extremt bullrande och inte fungerar praktiskt taget, vilket har gått ut på en mycket komplicerad natt med tanke på värmen i full månad av augusti och antalet moustiques när man öppnar Fönstret. Dessutom var vi på andra våningen, under taket, vilket definitivt inte hjälpte till värmen ... Vi åt på hotellets restaurang. Vi var nästan ensamma och därför väl i lugn på den vackra lilla terrassen. Det var inte en extraordinär måltid men vi åt bra och det var inte alls dyrt. Frukost var mycket bra. Vi känner att allt är gjort för att göra nöjen för kunderna."
