"The hotel room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. We felt warmly welcomed by the sweet touch of two towel swans arranged on the bed upon arrival. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. Despite offering only a very simple set menu, we waited nearly an hour to be served. Additionally, when we politely asked the front desk for late checkout due to breakfast delay. We had to fight for a mere 30-min extension. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent for exploring the beautiful small town, which was truly charming."

"Simply superb! Lisa and Robert (hosts) go above and beyond to make your stay remarkable. Extremely clean and regal. If you like antiques and royal decor then this place shines! The house is very well maintained. Plenty (loads) of outdoor and indoor common areas that are comfy and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent too! Yes we are coming back!! "

"We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by the night reception. There are many ample parking and we entered from the back of the hotel. The hotel is huge and fronting a river. Our room is facing the river and we discovered an amazing view from the balcony of our room. Although the hotel is outdated but it is clean and comfortable. The hotel location is a good 40min drive south of Ottawa Premium outlet and a good stop over for Toronto destination."
