"Väldigt trevligt ställe. Rent! Varje dag besöker tjejer och städar rummet. "Fantastic hotel built in the hillside as a village setting. So immaculately looked after. The location is picturesque and really feels like a get away from it all reset. Staff without exception are fantastic, caring and professional. Special thanks to housekeeping for such a great job. Spiros on Concierge. Chryssa and her fabulous team in the restaurant. The chefs and kitchen staff especially for catering so well for a gluten free diet. Compliments to the chef that makes Mongolian beef…wow! The show cooking chef too! Pool bar and beach service too are all great staff. It was such a relaxing experience staying in the resort. The menu is extensive and changes daily with a different theme, so much choice. Everything is quality and fresh. Hotel is not really suited to anyone with mobility issues. Our room was 148 steps down to the beach (no lift) or take the path which is obviously on a gradient. The restaurant and bar are about 20 steps up from the beach. The beach is private to the hotel with very comfortable sun loungers. There’s more than enough so it didn’t look like people were putting towels and claiming them. We booked our holiday with Jet2 and booked a private taxi transfer with them too. Our taxi driver Nikos was reliable and we paid him also to collect another member of our family who joined us during the holiday. Details for Nikos on attached photo. We hired a car through Broumis, a family business based in Nydri and they delivered to the hotel, easy to deal with and definitely recommend."

"We stayed for one night early November out of season. We were due to catch an early bus to Thessaloniki from the bus station which was a 5 minute walk away so a great location for us. It is a 15 mins walk to the town centre. Two large supermarkets and a bakery nearby. The staff and their attention to customer satisfaction was exemplary. The venue is of a high standard and the pool area is very nice. Breakfast delivered to the room included fruit juice, tea and coffee, two fried eggs and a hot toastie each, croissants, choc au pains, jams, honey, cake and apples and this was described a little breakfast as we were out of season! We will be back without a doubt."

"Avoid this hotel at all costs — the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. On June 21st, we stayed for one night at Grand Theoni Hotel in Vasiliki, Lefkada. I had booked 3 rooms a week in advance via email (2 family rooms and 1 double), priced at €190 per night with breakfast, as we were catching the ferry to Kefalonia the next morning. The shock came when a family of our friends, who arrived without a reservation, were offered the same type of room for less than €90 without breakfast. Such a huge price difference for the same room, in the same conditions, felt like a complete rip-off. But that was only the beginning. The hotel itself is the worst I’ve ever stayed in — extremely old, dirty, run-down, with zero basic standards. The staff at reception were powerless to handle any complaint, and when the so-called manager appeared, she behaved in the most arrogant, rude, and unprofessional way I’ve ever seen in the hospitality business. She didn’t even turn her head to acknowledge us while speaking in her language and walking away. Later, when I insisted on speaking to her (not even knowing at first she was the manager), she dismissively justified the lower price as “the last room.” And her final words were simply: “You can leave if you don’t like it.” At that point, I had already paid 50% by bank transfer — or else, believe me, I would have left immediately. When we got to the room, it hadn’t even been prepared. The sofa bed for the children was still closed and without sheets. When I asked at reception, the same receptionist ran upstairs to throw a wrinkled sheet over it because, as she said herself, “I’m alone, there’s no staff.” The room and bathroom conditions were disgusting — unhygienic, outdated, and absolutely not worth even a third of what we paid. And the cherry on top: at breakfast, which we had to grab quickly before the ferry, my 11-year-old son found a dead fly stuck to his fried egg — clearly cooked together with it, as it was embedded like a decoration. I genuinely love Greece and have traveled extensively, but this is the only hotel experience that truly disgusted me. I honestly recommend everyone to stay away from this place. No service, no hygiene, no professionalism, no hospitality — and an absolute disgrace to Greek tourism. Stay away."

"A warm friendly welcome from check in to unfortunately having to go home. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and a short walk to the center of Nidri. Room was very spacious and well maintained the aircon being a bonus as it was baking hot during our stay. We stayed in a room for 4 people with our balcony overlooking the pool, bar and beautiful views over the marina. The hotel has a lovely pool area and a very well stocked pool bar. You can also enjoy your drinks on the beach across the road which was lovely in the evening watching the moon rise over the bay. A fantastic 2 weeks spent in a great super value for money hotel with a lovely friendly Greek family as your hosts. Would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Oscar"

"Allure är ett litet boutiquehotell centralt beläget nära shopping- och gästområde i Lefkada.Vårt boende var på två nivåer, ett sittområde som öppnades på balkong på första nivån och ett sovrum och badrum på andra nivån. Rummen var väl underhållna, perfekt ren och inredningen var modern och elegant.Den mycket receptionistiska Anastasia var mest trevlig, professionell och hjälpsam.Den enda nackdelen med detta hotell är bristen på middag och barfaciliteter."

"Rummet var väldigt smutsigt, utan antiseptiska medel eller tvål. Den andra natten blev min vän biten av en parasit och fylldes med finnar. Chefen betedde sig samtidigt som om det inte var viktigt och erkände att han personligen var ansvarig för desinficeringen av rummen och inte en expert eller yrkesperson. Dessutom erbjöd han oss ett andra rum som var ännu smutsigare än det vi blev bitna i. En situation som var helt surrealistisk. Mycket besviken efter det åkte vi omedelbart hem. Nästa dag: 1. Min vän gick till en hudläkare som sa att infektionen var allvarlig och gav honom specialbehandling. 2. Vi insåg att vi blev stulna. Vid våra saker låg fyra par sportskor stulna – stulna av chefen eller hans personal."

"While the amenities and aesthetics of this resort look inviting, the customer experience is extremely poor. Upon checking into our room, we found that it hadn’t even been made with the previous occupant’s sheets, towel and rubbish still everywhere. On our last day, housekeeping rang the doorbell and came in at 9.50am without us opening the door for them, even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on. This was a gross invasion of privacy and disturbing to know that they are just walking into rooms uninvited. They wanted to begin turning over the room even though we had not checked out, and still had until 11am to do so. Not one apology or acknowledgment from anyone on front desk for these incidents. Definitely an instagram vs. reality resort, with money better spent elsewhere."

"We spent 10 nights in Parga but wanted to visit Lefkada as well so drove down for our final day and night. Drive was fine until we got very close to the hotel and then we couldn’t find it due to the very narrow access road that leads up to it. There are signs as you approach but would help if these were nearer the main road. Anyway once we arrived there are lots of parking spaces and check in was quick and easy. Thankfully there is also a small lift to avoid carrying luggage up to our second floor room. The rooms are fairly compact and basic with a nice balcony area with great views. There is a stove and some basic utensils but no kettle although we had our own. The bathroom is quite small but perfectly adequate and shower was powerful with hot water. The swimming pool is lovely and offers more great views as well as shower and toilet block and a serving hatch for the main bar area. Beers were well priced as was the cold bottles of water if required. As others have said it is a bit challenging to get down to the beach and resort area down lots of steps and the steep hill but we managed it ok. Once there we had a drink in the cave bar and then walked the length of the bay and had a great meal in Patio dining. We planned on getting a taxi back but none available so walked it which was fine. Overall would stay again but for no longer than a night or two."

"This is a pricey but worthwhile hotel in a breathtaking location with a private beach, several pools, a spa and a gym. Breakfast buffet deserves a special mention as it was excellent with a wide variety of healthy and indulgent options. Evening buffet proved difficult for vegetarians which was, at times, disappointing. There is an expensive Italian restaurant on site. We used it only once because we did not like the food at all. Other guests liked it. All staff we encountered were very polite, friendly and helpful. A big Thank You to them all. Cleanliness: 5/5. The only sad experience: we noticed that some swallows‘ nests were removed after they already contained eggs for hatching. Some swallows were using the open structures of the hotel to nest. We did not find this to be a problem but, sadly, some guests obviously did, which is understandable but more could have been done to prevent the nesting in the first place."
