"Simple mixed hotel-hostel in an old building. Very polite desk-service and very clean rooms with air-conditioning. Amazing location, right next to the Cathedral. Rooms facing the main street might be noisy (as expected). Parking might be an issue, you can ask at the reception for the nearest free parking zones. We found one 5-10 mins away but maybe we got lucky."

"Excellent location, the room had air conditioning and was spacious. The bathroom was very clean and a decent size. It has Wi-Fi, a common area with free coffee and a refrigerator for storing drinks or other items. It also has a balcony. Daily cleaning service and the staff are incredibly friendly. Definitely worth repeating."

"We just left today. This place is fantastic for various reasons: location just in el Camino, super comfortable and above all, the superb experience we had. Miguel, José and Johny are wonderful hosts, their hotel is warm and very wellcoming. The food is excellent. There is a large menu with lots of different local food options, as well as a great variety of home made sandwiches and burguers. All food is very well cooked and presented. Breakfast is fantastic and coffee is of very good quality. Rooms are quiet and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and toilets and shower are almost new, with very hot water and excellent pressure in spite of us being on the top floor. Decoration of the hotel its been made carefully by José taking care of every little detail and making this place to be very special. We strongly recommend the stay in El Trasgu and definitively we will be returning back next year."

"Detta lilla vandrarhem tillgodoser alla behov du kan få för att besöka staden: nära tåget, nära centrum, bekväma sängar, rymliga rum, lugn ... Även när du befinner dig på en transitgata, finns det ingen buller att störa. Dessutom ligger det bredvid en matta område något glömd av staden, men det har mycket mat och är mindre överflödigt än Våtkvarteret. Det finns en matsal där man kan äta frukost lugnt, men det finns ingen kontinental frukost. Personlig mycket uppmärksam. Rekommenderas att komma tillbaka, inte bara förbipassage utan några dagar att vara i Leon."

"When I saw the Google ratings, I couldn't believe the poor reviews. However, it seems that seeing is believing. It was the worst experience of my life; I wouldn't come back even if it were free. The receptionist treated customers terribly; she was unsympathetic and, what's more, not very pleasant. In a job with direct customer service, you should try to provide decent service even if you're having a bad day. The room and facilities are terrible. In short, not recommended, even if it's a bit cheaper than other hotels in the area."
