"We decided to have a family break away for a pre Christmas get together but to also celebrate our nans birthday. Upon first arrival of Lifton hall we were amazed with the 17th century building as it’s absolutely beautiful. Then walking inside it was just wonderful, the warmth from all the incredible decor, they even put up the most beautiful Christmas tree in the living room for us. Robert was so friendly upon arrival, I popped into the bar to meet him and he gave me a guided tour around the property and explained how he was always around to help, that was shown when we ordered some food and drinks and they were bought into the apartment for us. The property was so clean and tidy, it honestly can’t be faulted. I honestly can’t thank you enough for a wonderful stay, we highly recommend to all to go and visit. "

"Linda, Derek and their family are great hosts. The accommodation is well equipped. Kitchen has all the mod-cons Rooms are warm, comfortable and spacious. The WiFi is excellent. We had a very happy stay. Overall I would recommend this quiet rural retreat to people wanting a small taste of farming life."
