"Imagine being in the lap of luxury in the heart of Figeac! M. Olivier Gregori and his staff attend to every detail and wish of their guests. Vincent (front desk/manager) and Autur (head waiter) deserve special mention for their care and professionalism. Our room was...gorgeous. It was luxurious, the bed was huge and comfortable, and all of the amenities were on point. Don't miss out on breakfast and dinners there. Breakfast is fascinating because not only is it high quality, but the chef documents every ingredient as to its local nature/sourcing. Dinner is a classy, refined experience, and again the chef is dedicated to quality ingredients and artful presentations. Just lovely. The old part of Figeac is steps away from the hotel, and there you'll find outdoor cafes, 16th century buildings (amazing!!), and lots of winding streets and cute little shops. Also, be sure to visit the Writing museum, which is right in the main square. I can not leave this review without making special mention of M. Gregori. With him, we enjoyed conversations about history, Philosophy, his love of his career, our families, the history of Figeac, etc. He's a lovely human being. He clearly cares about providing 5-star service, he treats each guest as the individual they are, and he cares deeply about his staff and their professionalism. Although he had a 5-star hotel to run, he paused throughout the day to treat my wife and me like royalty. He's a true gentleman, and I can't quite adequately express my gratitude for his kindness. To be honest, the hotel was so posh, so beautiful, and so guest-centered, I'm not sure I deserved to be so richly treated."

"We are just on our way home from a wedding where we spent two days at this absolutely delightful chateau. It had all the usual fantastic elements such as a picture perfect view, beautiful grounds, fantastic food and wine, lovely rooms etc but what set it apart for me was the amazing standard of service by every single staff member. I have stayed in many expensive hotels all around the world but the staff at this particular hotel were by far the most courteous, polite and helpful that I have ever encountered by some considerable margin. I could have picked any single staff member and they would have typically been the one exemplary person you might occasionally get somewhere else but here it was just simply everyone which is something I have never encountered previously. Will definitely stay again one day!"

"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The swimming pool is well with bronze corner of what to make the seast or just enjoy a moment of calm with views on the valley. The hotel is in free fashion and you can enjoy it without restraint. Marc will make you comfortable throughout your stay. In the morning breakfast will be waiting for you with winemakers, seasonal fruits, bread, sauce, pissenlit and other varieties. Milk, coffee tea, fruit juice. A real relaxing moment. I recommend."

Det var en av de sällsynta erfarenheterna som påminner om hur meningsfull gästfrihet kan känna när det kommer från människor som verkligen älskar vad de gör. Tack till Pascale, vars känsla av gästfrihet, skönhet och uppmärksamhet på detaljer är helt enkelt ojämn, och till Patrick, Camille och Louis som gjorde vårt vistelse helt enkelt magiskt.Vi drömmer redan om vårt nästa besök.Caroline."

"Finished our Camino from Le Puy here. Absolutely wonderful stay. Great room, great food, great staff. Thank you for a memorable stay. The room overlooked the Cele, was very clean and had all the amenities. Pool on the roof was lovely on a sunny day. Breakfast was incredible... goat yoghurt!!! Great breads, fruit, charcuterie, cheeses..."

Inte lätt, ibland i kast med värdarna trakassiner som skriver på ett bittert och sarkastiskt sätt, förmodligen eftersom de inte är vana vid hus som har en själ. "We stayed in this lovely apartment, the Popia, whilst visiting relatives who will shortly be moving to this very village. We were given a very warm welcome from Natalie, our host and although our French is limited with Natalie’s warm nature made sure we understood what they had to offer. The apartment is very spacious and has a very functional kitchen with excellent facilities which are also very modern. The bathroom shower is ‘state of the art’ and very good. There are also lovely touches such as heated towel rail with an extra fan heater. There is a large outside terrace on one side of the apartment and another balcony on the other side which to my pleasant surprise housed a horse directly underneath in it’s stable. There are also sheep, rabbits and assorted hens and a lovely swimming pool. The property is close to one of the prettiest villages in France, Saint Cinq Lapopie. We are looking forward to returning to stay on our next visit. "
