"Very classic hotel in decoration and furniture. The heating was somewhat noisy which made it difficult to rest until I had to turn it off. Breakfast is good but I think it would be very useful to start at 8.00am rather than 8.30am. Very friendly staff."

"Very well located, in the middle of the town (with pleasant and peaceful surroundings) and next to the spas which are connected to the hotel by a tunnel. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a classic and simple way. The bathroom is not practical as the door hits the toilet and in fact it is much more useful to have a shower than a bath or to install a bath using a PVC or glass screen and not a curtain. The breakfast is very good, varied. The restaurant is also good, being a good option for those who don't want to leave the hotel. The indoor pool is very good, with good dimensions and a fantastic water temperature. The staff is friendly and efficient."

"A grand hotel in the old style. It was undergoing significant renovation while I stayed, so they're clearly making an effort to remain competitive. Staff was courteous and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was tasty and filling at a good price. All in all an excellent value. My only complaint is the strong musty odor in my room. Fortunately the weather was good so I could open the windows wide, but the hotel really needs to eliminate the source of the smell. I didn't know before visiting Luso that it's famous for the quality of its water. The photo show the spouts in the center of town where locals come to fill their containers."

"Busaco Palace Hotel, den verkliga Royal Palace, bokade klassiska hus 27, trägolv, två heliga människors skulptur utanför fönstret, som bodde vid den nya byggnaden för tio år sedan, den här gången som jag önskar! Buffalo är bra på middagen.Busaco är dyrare än tidigare.Många tyskar som har drickt alkohol kan inte gå tillbaka till frukost.Tyvärr, de kan inte köra med bolt, tålmodig, etc., och klosterkyrkan är värd att se.Duke Wellington besegrar den franska armén, skogen måste gå till fots. Luzulussos varma mat är perfekt för en gångs skull!"

"The house is very old, so you can easily hear noises from the other rooms (footsteps, people talking, hair dryers, snoring, etc.). We woke up early because someone was using a hair dryer and snoring, so we didn’t sleep well. The shower door did not close properly, and the bedroom door handle is falling off. The mattress was good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay."

"Charming old villa hidden in beautiful gardens. Secluded, but short walking distance to the pleasant town of Luso, close to Bucaco forest and about half hour drive to Coimbra. Wonderful place to stay if you like old world authentic atmosphere. Quiet, serene place to spend the night(s). Comfy beds with a quality bedding, beautiful antique furnishing. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was on the premises. Breakfast was served in the pleasant sun room. Good selection of food and perfect omelette. Great experience!"
