"Ok I'll start with the negative first. No hot water on most days very frustrating after a few dives when you are chilled. Wanted my room cleaned one time and they never came, annoying. 1st night I went down for dinner someone at the table next to me was getting a pedicure in the restaurant with toenail clipping flying around! Gross thankfully none landed in my food. The restaurant is small and they allow smoking it smells and you cannot get away from it, not fare to non smokers. Cats and dogs all over but they are well behaved. Beer can be colder. Place can use some upgrades paint cleaning and fix the crumbling steps. If you like to sunbath not the place for you no chairs by the pool or on the rocky beach. Good stuff Food was good and the portions were very big and a lot of variety on the menu, and Donna the server is so sweet! The dive crew are awesome from the boat captain to his helper. Jeff the divemaster is awesome he watches out for everyone and if you don't have enough weight to get down he is right there with extra weight! They go to a variety of spots for muck and reef dives. Shout out to Jeff nd Dan for being some of the best spotters anywhere!"

"Super friendly staff, wonderful place. The public areas are clean and cozy. There's a swimming pool. A few minor complaints about the room: it's quite outdated, the air conditioner is very noisy – it's impossible to sleep with it... The bed is separated from the headboard. There's no soundproofing at all; we could hear our neighbor snoring in the next room. But the room is also quite clean."

"It is incredibly difficult to write a good review, as we stayed at this hotel during a typhoon. Because of this, we spent three days stuck in our hotel room instead of enjoying the resort. Upon arrival, everyone was super nice and the rooms were amazing. Spacious, clean, and super modern. We were looking forward to the upcoming three days! The menu is incredibly extensive, although they didn't have everything in stock because we were there during the low season. They were very helpful and prepared the most delicious meals. This is a bit priceier, but well worth it! On the ****te day, it rained so hard and so much that we really couldn't do anything. Quite a challenge with two small children. The (Belgian) owner indicated that we could use the Ocean View Suite to use as a living room and to be together. Our food was also brought there, as we couldn't use the restaurant due to the rain and wind. We were supposed to check out the next day, but due to a landslide, we couldn't leave. The owner and his staff were also stranded themselves, and fortunately we were the only guests at the time, so we were able to stay an extra night. Solutions were devised to allow us to get away after the typhoon, which was very nice. Unfortunately, we were also unable to use electricity on the last evening (the last in the village), but everything was discussed and arranged. The next day the weather was gloriously sunny, and we saw the beautiful resort again (with some broken branches and stones by the sea). It really was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy swimming and sunbathing. Unfortunately not for us, but that is why we would definitely say: we will be back again! A very neat, clean, spacious hotel with incredibly sweet and helpful staff!"

"A budget-friendly accommodation option outside of resorts for snorkeling and diving in Anilao. It features a private living room, a balcony for drying clothes, and clean, undisturbed accommodation! However, there were no disposable toiletries or slippers. Check-in was around 7:30 PM, and by the time I noticed, hand soap was already gone. The shower area was small, and the air conditioning was very noisy."
