"Läge något från centrum, men med gott utsikt över hamnens slut. Det var ett mycket litet rum utan att bara ha utrymme att gå mellan sängen och bordet eller fönstret. Jag var tvungen att klä på korridoren. Rumspriset är inte en ursäkt för att uppfylla minimibehållbarhet. Spa, liten, men tillräckligt för att slappna av. Femton frukost, sort och kvalitet. - Väldigt uppmärksam och vänlig personal. Jag skulle säkert upprepa det, men i ett annat rum."

"We spent a week in Mahon and celebrated our anniversary here. My thoughtful husband had arranged for a bottle of Cava in our room upon arrival; the staff had gone further and left rose petals on the bed - a lovely touch. We were lucky to be in Room 5 which I’d say has the best outlook from the front of the hotel. We could fault nothing about the room - comfortable bed, pillows, huge double shower and jacuzzi bath (which sadly we never got to try out). Breakfasts were lovely although a minor criticism would be that there were too many sweet and not enough savoury choices in the buffet breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful - it would have been even better if we could have received some recommendations about the best places to eat or places to visit. The hotel is situated very conveniently in the town and it’s not too far down to the harbour. Would recommend and would stay here again."

"We spent a week at the Senator hotel. The staff were wonderful especially Mario in the restaurant and the bar maid with pink hair!! The location is perfect for a wander down to the restaurants on the harbour ( warning, lots of steps) but we often took the bus from just outside the hotel to the old town which is full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. The bedroom was adequate but could do with a larger wardrobe which goes from side to side not back to front. There was an Elton John tribute act on one night who was excellent and there was a great atmosphere. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice but the buffet and other foods were not great, but we enjoy eating out. The pool area is lovely and always a sunbed available. At a 4 star hotel though little things like paying for a safe key was a little OTT. Overall a lovely hotel and perfect for couples wanting to relax."

"Wow wow wow. This amazing boutique hotel in Mahon was perfect in every way. Beautiful inside and out. So glad we stayed here. Here’s why: Location: Literally in the middle of everything at Plaza Bastio, easy walk to shopping, restaurants, the port. Staff: professional, friendly, helpful, lots of great advice on beaches, restaurants, etc. Every single person someone you’d love to have dinner with and have as your friend. Room: large, comfortable, two showers (!), great air con, comfy beds and linens (made twin beds into one, as requested). We had ground floor with shared terrace great for wet beach stuff. Rooftop pool: only used it when we arrived late in the day, but a nice amenity. Breakfast: Fresh baked local pastries, fruit, meats, cheese, juice. Fresh coffee/cappuccino. Parking: 10 minute walk to garage with voucher for discount (absolutely worth every penny to not look for parking spots) Other: Honor bar for drinks. Refill water bottles for free. Ice available when you want. LOVED the Sindic. Muchas gracias a todos!!"

"This is my second visit to this lovely hotel with amazing staff. A few pointers: Breakfast is plentiful but the offerings are a little bit odd … floppy cold bacon, strange sausages …. Music around the pool perhaps and at night, some fairy lights outside or something to up the ambience I think would be good. Housekeeping is great but please more milk ( UHT is what you are given but such a scant amount) A pool bar would be wonderful!!! This is fantastic hotel"
