"Stayed here as part of a wedding being held at the venue - which during the week is a business venue. Room was clean. Matress was very worn and sloping down on one side. Also very hot in the rooms with no air conditioning. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Bacon, eggs, sausage but served in very small dishes so two people would take most and others would need to wait for the food to be replenished. For the full english, some hash browns would have been good. Friend had to wait 15 minutes, after plating up, for vegetarian sausages. Would have been nice for some of those to have been put out too."

"Hotellet var mycket gammalt världsligt, sött, med mycket historia.Platsen var vacker och tyst en idealisk plats för bröllopet vi deltog, den gamla baren delen av puben var vacker för bröllopet, idealisk. Nu var matet trevligt i puben, även om mina potatisar som levererades med min måltid var så sent att jag åt halva middagen innan de kom ut.Personalen var mycket lovande och tog bort extra kostnaden på sex pund för potatis från Bill. Hotelldelen i byggnaden behöver nu en uppfriskad, lik av målning.För en byggnad byggd i A.D 1147 tror jag att du skulle förvänta dig det, men det behövs underhåll. Renhet var okej, men det behövdes hoppa runt sängen lite närmare och några cob-nät avlägsnade från rumstaket.Förutom att det var en vacker vistelse kunde jag inte tänka på personalen och det omgivande området, vackert gå längs Themerna."
