"Vi körde hela vägen från London till Whatley Manor, platsen är verkligen lite tyst på landsbygden.Det är en mycket vacker Manor sedan 1929.Vi bokade ett suiterum och uppgraderade till extra enda säng för min son och kostade 150 pund, som anses vara mycket dyrt. Vi bokade för 2 nätter och det kostade oss £1500, [inklusive frukost] i min åsikt är mycket dyrt för denna plats. Jag tror att deras försäljningsställen är spa, sauna, termiskt rum, vattenbad men för asiatisk, det är för vanligt för oss.Bäddarna är mycket bekväma, rum är mycket rymligt och mysigt, ger bra kvalitet utrustning. De har verkligen vackra trädgårdar bra för att gå och läsa böcker.Förutom priset är allt bra."

The Horse & Groom Inn

"Having stayed at The Horse and Groom on several occasions, we knew what to expect, although the pub had been taken over by Phil and John only days before we arrived. The pub, as far as location goes, is on it's own, but close to Malmesbury. As long as you have transport, you are fine. When we arrived, the pub was very busy with locals who were there to watch the rugby. Neverless, we were greeted by a really friendly young barman and then by John (the co-owner), who served us. We were then checked in by Phil. The pub itself is still the same as it was when we first started staying here approximately five years ago, and this is part of it's charm. We ate here on our first evening, and the food was really good, in fact, better than the last time we stayed, when we felt that the standard of food had gone down. After speaking with Phil, we shared our thoughts regarding the menu. The menu is limited, but, saying this, what is on there is of really good quality and standard, pub grub, but on another level. I wouldn't change a thing on it! Phil mentioned that they may do a specials board at some point, which seems like a good idea. Breakfast was good, although we weren't given a menu. I'm sure that in time, there will be one. The rooms are adequate, clean and tidy, but have not been refurbished since our first stay, approximately five years ago. The bathroom definitely needs a re-fit, but I'm sure this is something that the new owners, Phil and John will consider as time goes on. We had a good chat with Phil and John, who, as I said, had only taken over the pub a few days before we arrived and had hit the ground running. I think they will do really well. They are two very genuine guys and I'm sure that they will make a real success of the pub. Well done and we wish you all the best for the future. We will return!"

"Vi stannade över natten i de yttre rummen.Dessa är rymliga och rena och bra för en hund.Bilparken är rymlig men ingången är smal trots gården.Vi åt i puben.Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och vänlig och mat var okej. De var upptagna på en Sat natt så mat tog en stund att komma.Jag rekommenderar bokning.De gör inte frukost men sommarkaféet upp vägen är bra.Frukost och atmosfär är söt.Gå tidigt som det är populärt."
