"Ravie d’avoir séjourné 2 nuits au Kingsail Resort. La chambre était mignonne et propre avec frigo et micro-ondes. Air climatisé = super! La piscine = super!
Ma fille et moi avons emprunté 2 kayaks pour une promenade d’une heure dans les mangroves. C’était fort agréable. Nous avons aussi profité avec joie de la buanderie.
La terrasse à l’arrière est bien aménagée avec tables et chaises pour lire, prendre un repas ou tout simplement profiter de la vie. Tous les meubles sont neufs et confortables. On y a observé des lamantins lors des 2 soirées.
La dame qui travaille à la réception est très gentille. Elle a répondu à toutes mes questions.
Un seul point qui pourrait déplaire, mais ce ne fut pas le cas pour nous: les nombreux coqs “sauvages” chantent avant même que le soleil ne se lève. Nous les avons trouvés plutôt beaux avec leur plumage multicolore."

"Detta är ett trevligt rent hotell med en vacker pool frukost är mer än acceptabelt.Det enda problemet är att detta hotell tillgodoser ett betydande antal byggarbetare som är uppe och flyttar vid 5:15 på morgonen. Problemet med det är dörrarna på dessa rum och utgångsdörrarna slam så hårt att du inte kommer att få lite sömn från 5:15 på.Stanna borta från de första våningen rum och rum mot södra änden av huvudbyggnaden."

"Solnedgången här var helt fantastisk!
Vi anlände efter klockan 17.00 och vi var så tacksamma för det omtänksamma nyckelkuvertet som personalen hade förberett. Det handskrivna välkomstmeddelandet på det berörde mig djupt.
Rummet var rent och bekvämt. Köksskåpen var fyllda med skålar, bestick och kaffekoppar.
Vi träffade en familj som reste i husbil och som hade bott här i en vecka.
Det är helt klart en trevlig liten oas.
Den enda nackdelen var att vi behövde komma igång tidigt nästa morgon, så vi hann inte prova den lilla poolen.
Sammantaget är det ett fantastiskt ställe att bo på!"

The bathroom has a designer vessel sink and faucet on a granite vanity top, comfort height Koehler toilet, and custom tile shower with dual showerheads. This unit also has access stairs to the rooftop deck through the door at the end of the hall.

The backyard has a table for 6 for alfresco dining and a large grill to prepare the catch of the day. The property boasts 100 ft of sea wall with four boat slips. Each slip having shore power and water. Two boat slips will accommodate up to 50 ft boats. The two other slips will accommodate up to 36 ft boats. Our waterfront, single-family home, affectionately named “Turtle Cove” is a tastefully furnished Florida Keys home and located on a quiet side street, in a residential neighborhood, equipped with four (4) outward facing security cameras to protect guests and the property; there are NO cameras inside the home.
The open living and dining room space is great for gathering with plenty of seating for everyone … a great environment to sit back, relax, and talk about your daily and upcoming adventures!
If you don’t have a boat of your own, there are plenty of rental/guide services in the area. We have one (1) two (2) person kayak for guest use. When you aren’t out enjoying our beautiful Atlantic Ocean or your private pool and hot tub, you’ll enjoy a host of other entertainment options…...you will be minutes from Sombrero, Key Colony and Coco Plum Beaches, the Turtle Hospital, Crane Museum and just a short drive to the Dolphin Research Center or Aquarium where you will learn about the wonderful sea life in the area.
In case you can’t get to the outdoors or to our sites or are winding down in the evenings, we have a large screen TV with a DVD player to watch movies and have a few games and puzzles if that is your thing.
There are so many great restaurants to try in the area, it will be hard to pick a night to stay in and cook on your own. But if you do, you’ll find that our kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. You’ll appreciate the stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with plenty of room to prep! Of course, we provide standards: A coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, blender, and plenty of serving dishes.
The main level has two bedrooms: One canal side with a king bed, TV and sliding glass doors to access the outside; the second has a queen bed. Our lower level, which is accessible from the outside, has a full and twin beds, a seating area with a TV and a little serving station with a microwave and small refrigerator to hold some essentials.
Our outdoor living area provides a gas grill and even a bait freezer for your convenience. Use of the dock is complimentary and has a cleaning station, electricity, and water access.

We have guests currently booked that have concerns about the depth of the canal coming in so I'm providing more information to help future guests - Past guests with a 30' boat ONLY had issues during king tides at low tide. If you are an experienced boater, you can get in and out of our canal without a problem. Please reach out before booking if you have questions or concerns so we can provide more details if you require them.
Pets: Please note we have a size limit and prefer smaller dogs, not too hairy - please send us a note first to confirm your pet is okay to stay. It's an extra $25/day (plus tax) for each pet. VRBO should ask you to put in the number of pets and charge accordingly but if their system doesn't pick it up, we'll add it on. If you are unsure, don’t add your pet in now, we will do it later when you decide. Deciding later will save you up front booking fees and unnecessary taxes.
Occupancy: Rates are based on the standard occupancy, which is 6. You may have up to 8 guests by Monroe County's Ordinance, but we charge additional occupancy fees of $140/week per person in this case.
