"I arrived at the hotel at around 1pm, and the front desk gave me the room directly (a room on the fifth floor). I paid a deposit of 100 euros on my credit card. When I entered the room, I saw that it was a room without windows on the wall (I booked a room with a small bed), so I called the front desk and asked him to change me to a room with windows on the wall instead of a room with windows on the roof. Their front desk reception was very enthusiastic and sent a colleague to take me to see another similar room on the fourth floor. Although there was a small window on the wall, the room was relatively small and not as good as the room with skylight on the fifth floor. So I decided to choose the room with skylight on the fifth floor. Check-in was still very pleasant. I met five or six front desk receptionists in total. Everyone was very enthusiastic. Maybe because I speak French, they answered all my questions. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is a five-minute walk from the Joliette subway station and there is a tramway. There are Carrefour, Monoprix and Franprix next to the hotel. The last three photos are a hamburger restaurant next to the hotel, which is a one or two-minute walk from the hotel. The average price per person is about 17 or 18 euros, and it is very delicious. From the photos you can see that the hotel is very close to Notre Dame Le Major. The hotel is relatively quiet and a good choice."

"Rooms are nothing like the photos. They’re quite sad airport hotel vibes. Ugly doors, tiny bathrooms where you have to hold the shower head to clean yourself. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast was horrendous. Gloopy, bland scrambled eggs, raw hash browns, stale pastries. I booked a superior double room, there was nothing superior about it. Waste of money. You also can’t leave the hotel without handing your key into the desk and requesting it back upon reentry. Very sad experience overall. The people behind the front desk were very kind but overall, unhelpful."

Det är över vägen från huvudjärnvägsstationen, vilket gör det mycket lätt att komma till.Den kommer att renoveras under en kort tid, från och med januari åttonde. Men när detta är klart, är jag säker på att det kommer att bli ännu mer utmärkt än det var för min vistelse."

"First time in Marseille. Fine to have stayed at this apartment but probably won't again. I had to chase for the access instructions myself. Also annoying to have to go pick up the keys from Ibis (collection itself was quick), which is a 9-minute walk to the apartment. The fob worked but the 2 keys attached did not open any doors. Email instructions, while clear, were not entirely accurate - referring to going right when in fact I needed to find the apartment on the left. Bit of drama one morning as I forgot my phone inside the apartment and had locked myself out. Had keys on me but the keys couldn't actually open the door, and of course I couldn't remember the super-secure 9-digit digital code! Only eventually managed to get in but asking a neighbour who thankfully was able to call the apartment manager. They should have given me working manual keys but never did. Apartment itself was very clean. Lots of linen. Comfortable bedding in the bedroom as well as hidden under the sofa bed. Basic toiletries included. Washing machine worked. Heating was plenty sufficient. No dishwasher but not an issue as I did not cook much. (2 induction hob rings right against the wall which I didn't think was conducive to cooking anything more than the super basic, but fine for me this trip.) Overall it was okay. Location super convenient, but I'd prefer somewhere quieter, where people and traffic noise wouldn't be so loud and go on after hours. Also somewhere without people relieving themselves next to large bins right outside the building's front door. Somewhere more pleasant..."
