"Recently stayed here for 2 nights, and to be honest 1 was enough as there wasnt much to do and the grounds weren't as big as we hoped for wandering around for some casual birding late afternoons after our trips out. We stayed in room 3 which apparently is where Katharine Hepburn stayed when filming The African Queen and one of their top rooms. In all honesty, it was really tired and dated, the furniture had seen better days and the bathroom was in dire need of a refurb with cracked and chipped tiles and tarnished mirror and fittings. A hook or rail for the towels would have been useful to hang them up to dry better too. The bed was comfortable though and we got some good nights sleep. Whilst the room wasnt as we had hoped for this place, the food was really tasty, delicious crepes and french toast for breakfast, really great packed lunches for our days out and the stew and chapati were spot on. Well done to the chef and serving staff for giving us some on the best food we experienced during our trip in Uganda. Hence, rated 4 stars despite our thoughts on the room."

"Det finns en TV i rummet, men inte öppnat.Det finns en låda, men om du inte använder den, kommer lådan in och låses i midnatt.Vi föreslår att du använder lådan på rätt sätt.Rummet är liten, men tillräckligt för att sova. När det gäller middagen, varmt vatten flödar korrekt, och framför allt, frukost är smakfullt.Med tanke på priset är jag mycket nöjd."

"great friendly place good food and helpful staff, close to the town and handy for our travels, my room as clean and indeed cleaned every day to a good standard, I had plenty of hot water for my shower and when the electricity failed ( a few times) solar lighting was available and easy to use. I will be back."
