"Our bungalow was huge and very beautiful with all the comforts of home. So many so little touches that added so much to the experience. A window over the sink that opens into a bar to watch the incredible sunsets (never seen a more beautiful and colorful sunset). The little water faucet to wash the sand off our feet without tracking it in. I can't say enough about the staff here. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and genuinely loving. The only issue we had was the breakfast. Very expensive and unappetizing. Would come back... ABSOLUTELY!"

"Vi var på en kryssning som slutade i Papeete.Vi bestämde oss för att tillbringa ytterligare två nätter i området och valde Moorea på grund av närheten med färjan.Jag undersökte hotell och valde Hibiscus på grund av de utmärkta betygen och priset. Hotellet översteg mina förväntningar.Jag bokade en deluxe bungalow vid stranden och vi hade en utsikt över havet från vårt rum.Sängen var bekväm och vi njöt av användningen av kylskåp, mikrovågsugn och varmt pott. Det finns ett litet shoppingområde inom gångavstånd som har butiker och restauranger.Vi åt två gånger på havet dig snart.Jag såg inte många butiker att köpa snacks eller frukost i butiken men de hade bra Tahiti lotioner, oljor och tvål. Taxiavgiften från färjan är ungefär 6000xpf.Havet vid hotellet är bra för simning men inte snorkelning.Jag fick höra att en bättre offentlig snorkelstrand är Tipaniers ungefär 2-3 kilometer bort.Personalen på hotellet var vänliga, välkomnande och hjälpsamma. Vi skulle definitivt rekommendera."

"We had a lovely stay and a great time. The place is clean, and François and his wife are super friendly. They're not pushy or intrusive. François will happily share his favorite spots on Moorea with you. The location is pretty good, but it's best to have a car or scooter (20 minutes from the dock, 30 minutes if you're on a scooter). The location is really nice, and the view is breathtaking. And I recommend trying Nelly's homemade ice cream! 😋"

"My wife and me expected a nice and peaceful journey, but the welcome was horrible. After my wife pointed out the humidity level of the facilities, the manager started to litteraly fight with her, saying "don't come here, don't ask for this, you are not welcome if you start like this". So, 1st expect a 90% humidity level, without any fresh air or dehumidifier device, bathrooms in the bedroom with no ventilation (is this legal ?), a lot of moisture, 2cd expect a lot of mosquitos, and eventually expect the most despictable manager I have ever seen. No coffee or tea for our breakfeat (insane !), you cannot ask because people are elsewhere, very bad mood and energy everywhere. It seems the employees suffer a toxic management, the same people doing 3 or 4 jobs at the same time (barmaid = receptionist = cleaning lady = eveything else). The location was ok, very nice view in front of the lagoon, but how to fully enjoy it, I will never know. Avoid this location, this hostel is no more than a 2* + toxic management. Hope it helps."

"Moorea Beach Villas is a brand-new resort right on the beach with views of the motus! There are a total of 10 beautifully appointed bungalows, 8 of which have their own private pool. At the front, there are two large villas with extra-large pools and direct beach access. The thought behind this place has truly been put into the design – the bungalows are exceptionally well-appointed and offer the utmost in comfort: with a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a washer and dryer, a fantastic large terrace, and an illuminated pool, you're treated to a truly luxurious experience! In addition, high-quality kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are available for all guests. From the beach, you can paddle to Coco Beqch or the sandbar to see the stingrays in just a few minutes. There are also several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We rented an electric scooter from Coco Rider and explored the entire island from there – so we can wholeheartedly recommend Moorea Beach Villas! It's the perfect base for exploring the island! Thumbs up all around 👍🏻👍🏻"

"Great rooms, shame about the hospitality! This small lodge is charming and well-decorated, but the hospitality leaves much to be desired. The management are unwelcoming and unhelpful, which is reflected in their responses to reviews. One major issue was the lack of food on site bar present with no snacks or meals —only a basic breakfast of fruit, mixed mini bread and jams was provided without warning, leaving us stranded without options. With no help offered to find alternatives, I had nothing to eat and relied on Motu Grill for dinner when that was open. If you’re not renting a vehicle or traveling solo, I’d avoid this place. I had the beach room view. Beautifully decorated, however can be noisy at night. The hosts made you feel like you were an intruder in their house, dogs barking, walls thin, no smiles as you leave or enter your room as you are in their house. The air conditioning is also a problem, as you can’t adjust the temperature, which is inconvenient. Also strict on no outside food policy and strict rule’s around pool area hence reluctant to use amenities. The beach is convenient , with broken coral and pebbles, though it does offer a nice view of Tahiti. Moorea bring your reef shoes. Pros: Nice premise, pool and bar. breakfast staff friendly ,Rock pools, Moto Grill next door Charming rooms . Eco -friendly culture more for romantic couples avoiding crowds. Ocean bungalows. Tips : Remote area away from town. Need own transportation. Avoid beach room view, Limited food and grocery options, so organised your own. Missing welcoming vibe that should be expected . Zero variety in breakfast and food choices. Long induction with accommodation policy. Need reef shores for the pebbly beachfront. Beware, of dogs and roosters on-site if you’re a light sleeper. More like an AirBNB with an average host."

"Well, I don't usually give negative reviews, so I gave it 3 stars. The bungalows are quite large, clean, and well laid out. The pool is nice, and the grounds are well maintained. But be warned, it's in the middle of nowhere. There's no beach access on foot, just a small grocery store 800 meters away, and no food trucks nearby. So a car is ESSENTIAL, otherwise your stay will be ruined. I regret the location."

"Anständigt ställe i en trevlig plats men reef har förstörts främst nära resorten.Det största problemet var att vattnet inte var drickbart (så inte heller lämpligt för att blåsa tänder).Till detta pris skulle jag förvänta mig grundläggande saker som detta vara på plats. Jag sprang ut ur vattnet en natt och hade inget att dricka utan att gå över en timme till närmaste vattenstation. Personalen var trevlig, men matnan var oinspirerande och överpris.Rummen var enkel men okej."

"Vi stannade här i tre nätter för att försöka något annorlunda efter att ha stannat i resorterna på norra sidan av Moore.Först var vi lite oroliga på grund av begränsade faciliteter, men snart satte vi sig i ganska trevligt. Vi hade ett problem med myror, men inget kunde vi hantera oss själva.Rummet var spottlöst och ganska stort och njöt verkligen av middagsbordet utanför på lanai.Bra plats, nära andra restauranger och matlagning. Han åt inte på solnedgången på fastigheten. Slutligen var snorkeln bara "OK" från stranden, men ändå njöt vi verkligen att komma ut ur resorterna och träffa några lokala eftersom det finns en stor kommun som ligger direkt bredvid hotellets lokaler.Högt rekommenderar och skulle återvända. Njut av det!"

"A 20-minute drive from the Moorea ferry terminal, the "Fare Arana" guesthouse is located at PK19.5 on the mountain side of Atiha Bay, where we spent three nights as a family. The guesthouse was taken over a year and a half ago by Nelly and François, and extensive renovations have been carried out, with everything being completely refurbished (common areas, bungalows, furnishings, and the pool). The cleanliness of the common areas and bungalows is simply excellent. Nelly and François are passionate about Polynesia and offer a warm welcome, providing all the information you need. With their helpful advice and attentive service, Nelly and François will pamper you. The guesthouse offers three comfortable, air-conditioned bungalows for 5-7 people, each 50m², with a TV lounge (for residents, remember to bring your satellite card if you have a premium subscription), a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (rice cooker, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, filter coffee maker, dishes, refrigerator), and a mezzanine bedroom. Linens are provided. Each bungalow boasts a large, inviting terrace overlooking Atiha Bay. Importantly, you'll sleep soundly: the bedding is new, and the air conditioning keeps you cool. In terms of amenities and services, the guesthouse offers everything you could want and more: internet access (WiFi in common areas), a saltwater pool, snacks, poolside or takeaway meals, kayaks, foosball, bicycles, pétanque, and darts. Our family tested the brand new 4x4 that the guesthouse recently acquired for a tour of the heart of Moorea with François at the wheel. An authentic and personalized tour, far from mass tourism; it's a must-do! We were thrilled with our stay and we'll be back!"
