"Visited this property for a family leisure trip and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall. Reaching the room in our own vehicle was extremely difficult due to poor road conditions and lack of lighting enroute. The rooms felt outdated and lacked the freshness and welcoming ambiance expected from a resort stay. Even the reception area was dimly lit and did not feel warm or inviting. Proper dedicated parking was also unavailable. The food experience was equally disappointing. We opted for à la carte dinner — the tomato soup was bland and lacked the creamy texture, paneer butter masala had very little flavor and even salt was missing, while the pasta barely had any vegetables. Only the roti was decent. The buffet breakfast was another letdown. Most of the items were not even warm, and the spread was very limited and uninviting. Sambar was not refilled even after multiple follow-ups, and the staff were not even aware of the bread toast with eggs order. Though the restaurant manager offered a discount on the breakfast considering the low crowd, even the discounted price did not feel worth it for the experience provided. What completely ruined our vacation was the careless handling of our luggage while shifting it to another property. Mr. Himanshu, who appeared to be managing the process, mishandled our bags and broke a high-value wine bottle inside the luggage. Instead of taking responsibility, we were given the excuse that the fragile item was not informed beforehand. Guests’ luggage should be handled with far more care and caution. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations and requires major improvements in hospitality, food quality, and guest handling."

"A really nice and friendly hostel in the tea plantation town of Munnar. It is basic and the rooms small, but it is clean and the shower does have hot water. No aircon as it is not needed. Nice rooftop lounge. The half day trek up into the local hills through the plantations and beyond was superb, but not for the feint hearted. Some bits are very steep and slippery, and beware the leeches! Our guide Ganesh was wonderful and really looked after us. He told us loads of information and stories (elephant tree for example!!) A lovely ***, please ask for him if you do a trek. Highly recommended hostel for a good price. Hint: Ali Baba restaurant over the way is superb."

"Had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the property. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention to Himanshu and Priya from the front desk, who were extremely courteous, helpful, and made us feel very comfortable. Their friendly attitude and willingness to assist really stood out. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from the room, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The overall ambience of the property was pleasant, and the room provided a comfortable space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, although the taste was average and could be improved. However, the service during breakfast was very good, with the staff being attentive and responsive. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, particularly because of the excellent hospitality, spacious and clean rooms, and beautiful views. The welcoming nature of the staff, especially Himanshu and Priya, made a positive impression. I would be happy to stay here again and would recommend the property to others looking for a comfortable stay with good hospitality."

"We didn't actually stay at this hotel. However, they do offer half-day and full-day hiking tours around Munnar, and we opted for the full-day experience. Our guide was Felix, and we set off punctually from the hotel. We hiked directly uphill through the tea plantations to the highest point. Once at the top, Felix served us a delicious breakfast of omelette, toast, and fresh fruit. The views were stunning! Felix thoughtfully left us to enjoy our breakfast while he went ahead to scout the path. Afterward, we faced a very steep and slippery descent through tall grass. It was quite challenging, as it was difficult to see where we were stepping. However, the remainder of the path was well-maintained. It was a beautiful hiking trail with lovely viewpoints. We also appreciated that Felix took us to another viewpoint for lunch, where he served us bread with a delicious potato curry. Felix was thoroughly professional as a guide throughout the tour. For instance, when we were having breakfast, he left us to scout the path ahead. He actually discovered a dangerous water buffalo, and we paused for about 30 minutes until the area was safe. Additionally, when one participant felt so unwell that they had to cut the hike short, Felix immediately attended to them and arranged for a tuk-tuk to take them back to the hotel. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hiking tour!"
