"Detta är ett mycket litet botiskt hotell, såg inte imponerande framför ingången utanför hotellet.När vi gick in är det verkligen trevligt och vi blev välkomna av mycket varmt i hushållsmanager och bokade middagsbord också. Vi njöt av frukost och middag, mycket bra kvalitet.Vår oro är att detta hotell inte har hissar."

"We just completed a 25-day trip across Scotland. The trip was amazing, we enjoyed staying at some beautiful places and had many great hosts. We both agree that our stay at Barcaldine Castle was on the top of our list! The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The castle was fabulous and the history intriguing everything you could want in a romantic stay.  But what really brought it all together were the hosts Patrick and Cecilia they were the perfect hosts. Whether they were sharing the history of the castle, serving breakfast, providing an evening cocktail or just chatting with guests their enthusiasm was contagious! If you're in Scotland and planning to visit Oban are this is the place to stay."

"We stayed one night at Faile bed and breakfast on our way to the Hebrides. Everything about it was excellent; Thomas and Isabel had thought about every detail. In particular, the breakfasts were outstanding - easily good enough for a 5 star hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer."

Palace Hotel - Small Hotel

"This is anything but a palace as it’s very very dated and in need of a deep clean although the bed was clean. The best about the hotel is it’s situated on the Main Street facing the harbour. I feel the owners are very happy robbing customers of their cash. I paid £138 for 1 night as I was desperate. There was no breakfast included, no parking, no WiFi and no lifts even though there is 5 floors. I would definitely never go back to this hotel desperate or not ."

"Stor plats, trevligt rena, väl underhållna lokaler.God parkering på plats, bekvämt för vattenfronten och stadscentrum.Rummet var mycket bekvämt och rent.Söt stora färska handdukar, bra en-suite faciliteter. Vår incheckning e-post skickades inte till oss av vår tredje part bokningsleverantör, men Liam var lätt att kontakta och snabbt förklarade hur man skulle komma åt vårt rum och skickade oss informationen till min e-post.Jag skulle definitivt stanna här igen."

Omgivning: Du måste gå eller köra en bergssluttning, hitta en bättre plats, ett bra utsiktsutsikt över det offentliga området. Faciliteter: Rum är lugnt och inbyggt. I allmänhet är det fortfarande bra."
