Service: The receptionist's attitude is good. The cleaning staff should ask the customer whether they want to clean now or later, instead of asking whether they want to clean or not. Environment: Close to the train station, you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes with your suitcase"

"This is an exception hotel and, at the time of reviewing, deserved to be traveller ranked number one! Although our stay was just for one night - wished it could have been longer - everything was spot on, and a few pleasant surprises too! Staff at reception were very welcoming and check-in took a matter of seconds (as did check-out). Our room featured a spacious sitting room (nice surprise), with sofas and TV, and a separate bedroom, also with TV. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided and the mini-bar contained free drinks, including beer. Unlimited free drinks (very nice surprise), including beer, were also available in two self-service, communal rooms situated on floors 2 & 3 (I recall). Free tea and coffee also provided at reception. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience, with everything that one would expect with a quality buffet-style presentation - hot and cold food, plenty of choice etc. The hotel itself is very close to Oldenburg railway station and dedicated, off-road parking spaces are located directly outside the hotel. The walk to the city centre took about 10 minutes. All-in-all and very enjoyable stay and, as such, the Hermes comes highly recommended!"

"The rooms are quite new and modern. Lots of exposed concrete, especially on the ceilings, creating a cool, modern design. This hotel would be a good choice for a stay in Oldenburg. What's completely unacceptable, however, is the constant use of informal address by the staff (who aren't even 30 years old) with guests (in my case, over 60). This is inappropriate and disrespectful. Even in English-speaking countries, this doesn't happen. You can also observe a lot of private conversations among the staff, even though there's plenty to be done at the tables. Overall, there seems to be too much sloppiness among the service team."

"Vi hade resan som familj, vi hade tre enskilda rum och ett dubbelrum reserverat. Alla rum och hela huset är mycket ren. Baden i rummen är utmärkt inredda. Frukost är super. När vi kommer tillbaka i Oldenburg kommer vi bara att gå till Hotel Wieting."

"I stayed two days and liked it, so I extended my stay and changed rooms. It turned out to be a nightmare. Facilities: Upon entering the room, I discovered the bathroom light was broken. I notified the front desk, but it still hadn't been fixed until after I checked out. Such inefficiency! Service: The day before check-out, I put some personal belongings, such as clothes, pants, and medication, into two plastic bags. The bags happened to be on top of a trash can, and the cleaning lady probably mistook them for trash and threw them away. But think about it, why would someone treat plastic bags as trash if they contained personal belongings? I reported it to the front desk staff, but they didn't seem to care. I told them I'd give them a bad review if they didn't address it, but they didn't care. This was a very poor service attitude. Environment: Because the hotel is in the city center, it can be quite noisy at night."

"We were like a coal ride there. The service was super. nice boy motivated people. Aperol super. Water was always filled. A servant was so nice that you also got his drink to the dance floor. The toilets were also in a good condition. The music from DJ was okay but did not really pick me up. I missed several coal classics. Unfortunately, the robbery was very narrow and the tables were too close to each other so it was already a little nervous to watch without coming to fight with the neighbor or backman. Unfortunately, what I didn't like was the buffet situation. It was not all offered at the buffet as advertised. The table neighbor pointed out that there are no potatoes. These were brought to her in a extra shell. Super reaction but we missed this painful too. Coal was delicious and meat was suitable too. But the mega mood did not trigger the food. In addition, that came to those with outdoors had partly raw cuttings. That's not possible. That's already very woeful. Well, everything in all was okay but the room could be bigger and serve food at the table I would have found more beautiful. (In Google reviews, the operator has reported bad reviews and let them remove )"
