"Stannade på hotellet några gånger, men det här är första gången vi har betalat för parkering som jag trodde var lite orättvist för att stanna. Bra pris som inkluderade frukost men rum var litet och fönstret hade fryst glas så vi kunde inte se ut, men faciliteterna var rena och adekvata. Stanna alltid som en stopp på vägen till Skottland."

"Avoid Penrith dirty and smelly with rude staff air conditioning full of mold so bad we left when alternative room was as bad. Apparently Premier Inn do not feel that a refund is justified despite the fact we were so disgusted by the state of the place we left."

"Host Vickie of Abbey House B&B definitely made our first trip to Penrith a truly memorable experience. She was prompt with our pre-arrival queries. We love our suite with the "Thoughtful Drawer", bathrobes and delicious breakfast spread. Bonus is also its convenient location to train and bus stations for day trip to Lake District as well as walking distance to village squares with quaint local-owned artisanal shops, markets, and diners. "We had a really lovely weekend stay at Brooklands when we visited Penrith for a cycling event. Owner Sue was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, making sure our bikes were stored safely and even getting up super early to make our breakfast as we had an early event start. Thank you Sue! Our room was exquisitely appointed with beautiful antique furniture and a stylish bathroom with lovely fluffy towels and bathrobes. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of continental and cooked options and my mushroom omelette was perfect! We’ll definitely be back."
