"We really did enjoy our stay in Balcomo, close to nearby stores (grocery, Starbucks, tim hortons) 5 minutes drive going to okanagan lake. Room is clean and I asked for extra towels so I don’t have to bother them, glad they gave us extra beforehand. Desk chair has a little damage keeps ruining my pants whenever I sit there. Wasn’t able to use their TV would be great if there’s netflix or disney. We enjoy the warm pool. I even witnessed aurora borealis during our 2nd night."

"We checked in on August 1. The property is in a beautiful location, but unfortunately our arrival experience was disappointing. After about four hours, our room was still not cooling down even though the air conditioner had been running continuously. As we were travelling with a toddler, we called the front desk for assistance. We were initially told that the room temperature would be adjusted remotely to 21°C, but nothing changed. When we called back and requested that someone inspect the unit in person, the receptionist instead explained how to use the thermostat, even though we had already tried those steps. During the conversation, her tone came across as irritated, impatient, and dismissive rather than helpful. Instead of listening to our concerns, she repeatedly explained how to use the thermostat, even though we had already followed those steps. She also asked where we had booked our stay, which made us feel uncomfortable, as it seemed to suggest that booking through a third party might affect the service we received. She then placed us on hold, but instead of returning to the call, she disconnected it without any explanation or resolution. Being hung up on while simply trying to resolve an issue with our room felt disrespectful and was the most disappointing part of the experience. When we called again, we requested a refund because of how the situation had been handled. The hotel then offered to move us to a different room, and the air conditioning in the new room worked properly. This made us feel that there may have been an issue with the original room’s AC all along."

Tjänstepersonalen var otroligt vänlig och responsiv.Jag njöt också verkligen av de vänliga samtalen med dem.De fick oss att känna oss hemma. Frukost var av hög kvalitet, och mina barn hade så mycket kul att göra vafflar med vafflaren. För någon som jag som behöver arbeta dagligen var gymmet bara perfekt, rent och energiskt. Badrummet och varmt badrum var också ett slag med barnen, som höll dem underhållna och lyckliga under hela vår vistelse. Det är överlag en fantastisk plats för familjer.Vi stannar definitivt här igen!"

"We stayed at Sandman Hotel Penticton and overall enjoyed our time, but I wanted to share one concern for management to consider. The washroom doors in the rooms do not have locks, which can be inconvenient for families with children or groups sharing a room, as it makes privacy difficult when someone is using the shower or washroom. Since hotel staff also have access to the rooms for housekeeping, this could create situations where the washroom door is opened unintentionally. Most hotels provide locks as a standard feature, and I believe adding them here would greatly improve comfort and privacy for guests."

"We had a great stay at the Four Points. It was a last minute booking as a previous hotel had fallen through. Staff were so kind and attentive and really helped us get what we needed. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the microwave and fridge were great touches. We were near a lift which was quite noisy throughout the night. And for the price of the rooms I think it should include breakfast to compensate for having such a tiny swimming pool. Otherwise a great stay in good location. I’d definitely recommend."
