"Excellent location at the main roundabout just south of the town. Room was comfortable, but bare bones. One highlight was the speed of the wifi, which was outstanding. Check in takes place in the pub on the other side of the car park -- not so convenient in icy or wet conditions."

"The best meal I’ve had in ages! Absolutely delicious. Friendly, efficient staff, and I had two courses for £26.95, starting off with lentil soup with a warm bread roll followed by Seaview Mornay: pan-fried haddock with cheesy mash and seasonal vegetables. Top notch! Had a cup of tea afterwards and it came with home-baked shortbread. Amazing meal. I’ll be back!"

"Dropped in here for dinner after long drive North. Quite quiet initially, so we were seated in the lounge area which soon became busy with locals and lots of hungry golfers. Good menu with plenty of choice. Servings were BIG, well presented and very good - Cullen Skink, Steak Pie, Lemon Sole all hit the spot. Would certainly eat here again"

"The St. Olaf Golf Hotel is a hidden gem! Kevin & Debbie are the perfect hosts. They treat their visitors like family and make you feel so welcome. The room was clean, light (great view of Cruden Bay golf course) and spacious. The food was fantastic - both breakfast and dinner. It is a quaint little hotel within walking distance to Cruden Bay Golf Course (which is awesome), Slains Castle and town. We can't wait to plan another trip and stay at the St. Olaf Golf Hotel for an extended stay."
