"En mycket dyr parkeringsavgift på 21 euro per dag, vilket inte nämns. Man kör till ett parkeringsgarage utanför stadens centrum och blir sedan skjutsad till hotellet med buss. Utöver det tillkommer en turistskatt (man måste vara uppmärksam på hur många personer hotellet anger på notan) på 3,13 euro per person. I vårt fall debiterades 2 personer som 4."

"Rooms Koblar has been recently renovated and is really up to modern standards at a very reasonable price. It has all the comforts you might want: large screen tv, refrigerator in room, wifi, air-conditioning and heating, parking right in front of the room.Check in is automated, and 24 hours available. On the grounds there is a large terrace with furniture where you can spend an enjoyable evening with a glass of wine. ( This you need to buy nearby and bring along.) Downtown Portoroz is within walking distance and Piran is s short drive from here. Breakfast is not served, but there are various cafes nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful."

"This was our first sea side vacation in Slovenia. The hotel is part of Life Class Hotels network which includes several more expensive and several less expensive hotels. Guests of all of them share the SPA facilities. I rated this hotel stay as “Very Good” mainly for its value for money. Otherwise, it is average. Hotel: this is a 4 star hotel and, apart from the food, old towels and having to pay for old bath robes, it is probably the 4 star hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, very clean, large balcony with a table and chairs. The hotel and surroundings are quiet, even though it is kind of in the middle of a resort town. Mattresses are on a softer side and pillows are not that comfortable but all in all ok. TV has several programs in English including CNN, BBC, National Geographic, cartoons etc. Towels and bath robes are very old and really need to be replaced at this stage. Plus you have to pay for bath robes (!) euro 6 per one bath robe. It’s handy to have one because you can go to the SPA dressed in it. SPA: is very good. There are several swimming pools, one of them is with thermal mineral water which we liked. Another one is with sea water and has one part outside. The pools are clean and pleasant. Can get very busy when the weather is not great but it was manageable. There are plenty of massage and other SPA options. I didn’t use any but they looked very nice and not too expensive. Kids club: there is one on the prémisses. It is run on the Medusa beach in good weather or inside of the Apollo hotel in not so good weather. Animators seemed nice but not too engaged. Also, they never asked for my room number or my phone number so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the kids there without me being nearby for longer than 10 min. When the kids club is run on the beach, the beach is right next to the road. So it really is not an option to be used for child care and going off to the SPA. Kids enjoyed playing there though so I do recommend it. Beach: the hotel guests can use Medusa beach which is opposite the hotel (you need to cross the road to get there). Hotel guests pay Euro 18 for two loungers and one umbrella. It is expensive if you do this every day. The beach is nice and clean but it is rather busy and not that big. Sun loungers are on the grass, there is no sand there. You need to use the metal step ladder to get into water. There are small stones on the bottom in the water so worth getting beach / water shoes (Euro 15 in shops nearby). Otherwise, can be unpleasant, especially for kids. The water is probably around 1 meter deep when you get in so young kids won’t be able yo puddle in. Water seems clean but there are lots of boats nearby so you can see a bit of diesel in the water. There are showers on the beach and a nice cafe for lunch and drinks. Food: breakfast is limited but ok. The young lady Sara who is making omelettes is very nice and welcoming. Scrambled eggs however are really bad as if they were made "

"Vårt rum var andra våningen och utsikten från rummet var fruktansvärd.Kyssan är för hög, den är obekväm.Det fanns inga blad på duvet.Den centrala kyl-/värmekontrollen var svår. Parkeringen var 15 euro/dag i augusti, och den öppna parkeringsplatsen var fruktansvärd, som en bygård, smal, full och farlig.Kanske skulle det bli billigare och bättre var som helst.Det är inte fyra stjärnor hotell för mig. Det är ungefär 150m för 5* Hotel Metropol och vi kan använda alla möjligheter i detta hotell: pool, sauna, mat.Det var ganska bra.Maten var variation och bra.De två hotellen tillsammans förtjänar förmodligen 4* för oss."

"Outdoor parking costs €1.80 per hour, while indoor parking costs €3 per hour. Bring coins, as no one at the hotel will change money, even if you tell them you're going to their pool. The pool is very relaxing, but the door next to the lifeguards, which should be closed in the cold October weather, unfortunately remains open from the afternoon until late at night when we were there. The result was €20 per person to get in, €10 for parking, and bronchitis from the cold of the open door!"

"Mycket stort, modernt renoverat hotell med alla för- och nackdelar på nästan 300 rum: Många resegrupper, stor drift i matsalen med lämplig ljudnivå, frukost och middag i 2 lager. Rummet är vackert och bekvämt inredda med balkong och direkt havsutsikt. Läget utmärkt i gångavstånd till Piran eller Portoroz. Gratis parkering. Frukost erbjudande mycket bra."

"Mycket bra frukost på den vackra terrassen drömmer vacker ☀️👌 Incheckning mycket vänlig och kompetent Rummen motsvarar 4**** , dock byttes handdukar endast dagligen ... Hotellet har en mycket stor, vacker polsk anläggning, men rena i damento-läsningen (ingen sömn, ...)kan önskas, av 3 toaletter var bara 1 tillgänglig; 1 var i allmänhet låst, 1 kunde inte låsas ... Men trots dessa "brister" var det en trevlig tid och vi kommer gärna tillbaka!☀️"

"The hotel was OK, but definitely too expensive, even in high season. The rooms were big enough, clean and with a big bed. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is only average. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were a disgrace. The location wasn't the best, right next to salt fields, but there was a very nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. For €150/night we definitely expect a better standard, or at least €50 less per night."
