"Very average hotel. It was once one of the most luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh, but it's been in serious decline. There was almost no service, the phone in the room didn't work (you had to go downstairs to get room service), and the cleanliness was average (there were even stains on the sheets). The shops and restaurants inside the hotel are almost closed. It snowed heavily when we checked in, and we couldn't go out during the day. As a result, there was no food in such a big hotel (only one bar was still open)! Finally, due to the overall design of this hotel, almost all the windows in the basic room types are inward facing (the window is opposite a wall), which makes it a bit claustrophobic."

"I've heard that I was repeatedly charged by the hotel after I booked a room with Ctrip. Unfortunately, this happened to me too. On the day of check-out, the hotel repeatedly deducted the charge. I communicated with the hotel and the charge was refunded on the same day. However, on the third day, I was charged again, and the amount of the deduction was nearly twice the Ctrip price! After communicating with Ctrip, it was said that the hotel would take 3-5 working days to return the refund, but it has already been four working days... I was very depressed, and I didn’t dare to book the next room with Ctrip."

"If you are there for the casino, you can’t get much closer (see picture). The property is old and dated-looking on the outside. Some of the interior doors show rust around the edges, and you can just tell by the carpet in the hallways and rooms that the place has been there a long time. The lobby is nice though, and they keep it and the rooms clean. Our room was spacious and looked pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the famous DoubleTree cookies were not available which was a letdown."

"Pittsburgh är en riktigt underbar stad att besöka med så mycket att göra.Hotel Monaco är i hjärtat av den och en enkel promenad till hoppet på hoppet från din buss och idrottsplatser. Turbussen är särskilt bra eftersom det kommer att ta dig till upp till 21 olika stopp/spots i Pittsburgh.Hotel Monaco är bredvid en utmärkt italiensk restaurang.Hotellrummets service var mat och anlände snabbt. Biertarden på taket och de gratis dryckerna för gäster från fem till sex pm är båda trevliga touchs.Jag kan inte rekommendera en resa till Pittsburgh tillräckligt högt."

"Jag hade en bra vistelse på detta hotell och erfarenheten var utmärkt. Personalen på fronten var mycket välkomnande, professionell och hjälpsam från det ögonblick jag anlände.Incheckningen var smidig och personalen fick mig att känna mig bekväm och väl behandlade. Hotellets faciliteter är också mycket bra.Det finns en Starbucks café inne på hotellet, en restaurang och en mycket trevlig gym.Allt var bekvämt och väl organiserat. I allmänhet gillade jag verkligen min vistelse här och skulle definitivt rekommendera detta hotell till andra resenärer som besöker Pittsburgh."

"Otroligt snäll och effektiv personal på check-in-desktop!Jag kom sent och var mycket trött, men de var så trevliga samtidigt som de var effektiva.Jag fick en kompletterande uppgradering och de var alltid säkra på att hälsa på dig när de gick förbi. Det är de små saker som gör IHG stor. Frukost var uttrycklig standard, men inga klagomål. Rummet var en presidentsuite, och det var spottlöst och i bra skick. Mysig plats från flygplatsen, men definitivt behöver en bil."

"When I first got to the hotel I stood there waiting to be called to the desk for 5 minutes. There was no one in front of me, and there were 2 workers. They both looked at me multiple times, but never said a word. Once I was called to the desk, it was a head nod. The hotel is pet friendly and 1 of the staff members are afraid of dogs, so she kept complaining about my 6 MONTH OLD PUPPY. She was going to the front desk claiming she was barking, off the leash etc. but it wasn't true. The breakfast was great, the only thing is, the dishes were dirty. And the lighting is terrible outside at night so it's very hard to find the hotel."
