Rummet var fint--minimalistiskt men tillräckligt stort och med en utmärkt dusch, men anledningen till att stanna här är utomhus. Poolen är extraordinär, tillräckligt stor för simning i varv och omgiven av bekväma loungeområden - och en fantastisk bar. Och restaurangen är otrolig: 2-stjärnig mat i en 1-stjärnig miljö (de bygger en ny restauranganläggning på fastigheten. Vi skulle återvända hit i ett pulsslag."

Breakfast itself was a highlight—beautifully prepared with fresh local ingredients and something new each day. Our room was very clean and spacious, with both a balcony and a private back terrace, perfect for relaxing. Nino is a professional, welcoming host and a great communicator. He made us feel completely at home and entertained us with amazing stories from his global experiences. A special mention to Christina, who greeted us daily with a warm, charming smile and was always attentive. "All I can say is that this place is amazing. As it was out of season we were the only couple here and we were looked after like royalty. The room was beautiful, modern and rustic. Breakfast was wonderful - a cooked or continental. We were surrounded by 3000 lemon trees and the whole experience made us feel so special. We did not have a car and walked from the station and spent our stay on foot which was so easy. We cant wait to return again soon."

"Stannade här för ett målbröllop som var ungefär 10 minuter bort, mycket renare äldre B&B.Gillade bilder och antikviteter.Det finns ingen hiss och ganska några trappor så bärande väskor upp var lite svårt.I ett mycket säkert och pituresk kvarter. Jag rekommenderar att du stannar här om du har en bil eftersom det inte finns några nära taxi eller Ubers (de kommer från Taromina och kommer att avgifta dig).Inte säker på vilka städer eller aktiviteter är runt (stad mycket tyst) och vi stannade bara de två nätterna."

"We stayed at Donna Carmela for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is set in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, which adds to its charm and makes it ideal for a relaxing short stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were courteous, attentive, and highly professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a restful night. The only minor drawback was the proximity to the railway line, as trains passing by could occasionally be heard. However, this did not significantly affect our rest, and we still managed to sleep well through the night. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a mix of buffet items alongside freshly prepared dishes from the menu. We tried the omelette and the poached eggs, both of which were excellent and clearly made with care. Despite the slight noise from nearby trains, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable thanks to the excellent service, quality food, and relaxing atmosphere. We would happily recommend Donna Carmela for a short and pleasant getaway."
