"The rooms at Hotel Rishiri are large enough and clean, but the bathrooms are very old, and especially the showers always have cold water at the beginning. While I can tolerate it in the summer, it seems like it would be hard on my heart in the winter. As for the baths, the ones at the guesthouses and pensions I stayed at for cheaper prices were better. Hotel Rishiri also has a large public bath, which I didn't use, but it might have been better."

"Service is excellent, all the staff are very friendly. Buffet breakfast and dinner is excellent, drinks are plentyful and free during dinner. However, the hot water for showers at night is not hot at all, could be because many guests doing their showering at the same time. But this shouldn't be an excuse for the hotel as it should be able to have hot water at all times."
