"We were extremely rudely treated at the reception at the check in as well as at the check out. The receptionist was unfriendly and refused to communicate in english. We were charged extra 15 euro in bedtax, although it was allready included in the booking. We travel a lot and this is the most unpleasant experience ever. We cannot recommend this hotel! "

"Belägenhet: Det finns gratis parkering före hotellet och på gatan. 5 minuter från shoppingcentret. En busshållplats ligger direkt före hotellet, till centrum körs buss med cirka tjugo minuter. Utrustning: Rumet var rent, badrummet hade en lämplig storlek, sängen var mycket bekvämt. Det fanns ett bord, men bara en hocker, det fann vi mycket ont! Dessutom hänger tv-apparaten mycket högt, vilket är ergonomiskt obehagligt. Tjänst: Vi har checkat in på ingångsfältet via skärmen, skriva har bara fungerat så måttligt bra. Nästa gång skulle vi checka in på receptionen."

"Hotellet ligger strax utanför Schwerins centrum, en kort bit från fyrfilig motorväg B106 och ett stort köpcentrum på ena sidan, och Ostorfsjön på den andra. Det erbjuder mycket rymliga rum med bekväma, breda sängar, en mysig fåtölj och ett rymligt badrum med gott om förvaringsutrymme och en skön dusch. Detta är en mycket god standard. Parkering framför hotellet kostar 7 euro per natt. Frukost serveras i en modern och bekvämt möblerad matsal. Utbudet av yoghurt, färsk fruktsallad, bröd och bakverk samt kaffe är hyfsat, och baconet med äggröran är behagligt krispigt. Utbudet av pålägg är dock märkbart begränsat. De som klarar sig utan detta kommer att vara nöjda. Sammanfattningsvis: Om du inte vill gå till den vackra stadskärnan är Courtyard ett utmärkt val. Rekommenderas starkt."

"I don't think the Uhle Hotel meets the official 4 star criteria: * The reception is only open from 8 to 22. The front door even less. * There is no lobby. * There is no real luggage story, and certainly not a safe one. * The mini bar is tricky. The small selection of candy bars and nuts is hidden in the main drawer, and looks like it is for free. The price list is hidden. * There is no room service (I was told I can order food by phone and pick it up in the hotel restaurant.) Check-in was strictly 15h00 in my case. The receptionist is also the owner, who I saw serving in the restaurant and clearing the tables from morning to night. You can imagine the "friendliness" of such an overworked person, and wonder why they have not more personnel. After all, the price level is not cheap, especially the breakfast for €26 is overpriced. The aisle to my dark corner room was freezing cold because a window was open. Probably because there was a stench in my room. The bad smell could have come from the clogged sink, or the dysfunctional shower doors that cause flooding. The room remained too cold all the time (ca 18°C) and there is no individual temperature control in the room. The room door doesn't close automatically, it actually remains a tad open, which I only noticed because there was a windy draft in my room. Could be a security problem. Last not least, I was charged the 5% local hotel tax in addition, although my booking confirmation said it was already included. I'm sure this was just another mistake."

"We were very happy with our stay at this lovely hotel, set across the lake from the centre of Schwerin, with attractive views towards the Schloss and the city’s church spires. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped, with the added bonus of a small kitchenette. One of the nicest features is the terrace at the front of the hotel overlooking the lake and the nearby boat stop, complete with traditional German Strandkörbe (beach baskets) — a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is very good, with a varied menu and plenty of choice. The whole hotel has a warm, intimate and welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel rather more personal than many larger hotels. There is also plenty of parking, and getting into the centre of Schwerin is straightforward. A very enjoyable stay and somewhere we would happily return to."

"The hotel is beautifully located in the green on the Ziegelsee. Quiet and idyllic beautiful. At the reception friendly, the room in the roof floor is small but cozy. The bed is narrow for a big woman but ok. Had I wished a flying net/grid on the windows for air in summer. The bath was clean with bathtub and everything you needed. All three meals were offered but only booked with breakfast. And there was offered everything you needed for a rich breakfast. Since we have not used wellness I can't say anything about it except that the wellness corner with its lying direction was invited to sea view. But the swimming pool we use a evening to refresh after a long day in the city is small and is rehabilitable. The ground floor has been blewed and is equipped with green spoon on some corners. The bedroom is invited with beds and beach basins in a quiet location towards Lake's. At the lake is a sea sauna. The evening invites to watch the sunset one at the sea bar with beach basins and banks. It is also a private beach section. Since the hotel is a little away, in the forest, you need to walk a little to get to a bus ( 15 minutes) if you want to let the car stand. And he doesn't drive often, so from the distances."
