"Even though it's along the national highway, it's surrounded by forest, which is really nice. The sauna had cold water, but the thick bath next to it was great. It was my first time trying bogeys, but by the time I had gone around two laps, I was doing corner work while spinning. Even at this time of year, it was cold at night, so I lit a fire and enjoyed the rocking and watched the cups. Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, was very humid, but Shari Town was great with no humidity. Thank you. I'll come again."

"The building is old, but it was well-cleaned, and the bathroom and rooms were very clean. There was a kitchen, so I was able to buy ingredients and cook, which was very convenient for a long stay. The washing machine and laundry detergent are in a separate building, but they can be used free of charge. Of the three major carriers, only AU has very weak signals, but they were able to lend me a signal amplifier, which was helpful. The management was kind, the price was reasonable, and it was an ideal place to stay. Thank you very much."

"This hotel room is quite spacious by Japanese standards. The facilities are relatively new, and it's divided into a main building and a west wing. We stayed in the west wing, which made finding the restaurant and the large public bath a bit inconvenient. After checking in, there's a complimentary bar offering some simple snacks, Japanese sake, wine, and one ice cream per person. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet-style and of good quality."

"The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁"
