The heating is strong enough that clothes dry overnight after washing. The TV has various sports channels, making watching games a great experience. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

Alexandra and Denisa at reception were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We also want to recognize Giorgiana and Mariana from housekeeping, who kept our room spotless and paid attention to every detail. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the entire hotel felt welcoming and well cared for. Between the outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and ideal location, Hotel Republique exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sibiu."

The hotel is in the perfect location just 3 minutes from the upper town big and small squares yet staying in the lower town avoids being overwhelmed by tourist crowds. "We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very quiet. Fortunately there were not many people there and there was always a parking space but that may not be the case normally. The room was clean and spacious, however, the towels were very worn and our had a number of holes in them."
