"A group of 12 stayed at the Amendoeira Golf Resort from 7th to 10th October 2025. We played the Faldo course, which, despite the slow play, was excellent. On completion of our round each fourball went to the bar, where we ordered and paid for drinks in groups of four. This continued through into the restaurant where we ordered our dinner, each fourball ordered and paid for drinks separately to the food. However when the food bill arrived it included drinks that had not been ordered along with the food (this was in the region of €45). I asked to speak to the manager and explained that we had not ordered any drinks with our food and that all drinks were purchased at the time of ordering in three groups of four. The manager refused to listen to me and said if the drinks were on the bill it had to be paid. I asked if the staff member who had served us the drinks could be identified but she refused to interact, insisting that if the drinks were on the bill they had to be paid for. We did not wish to cause any trouble and advised the manager that we would pay the additional €45, but that we had intended to stay in the bar for the rest of the night and also planned to be there the following day for drinks and food. However due to her attitude and intransigence we were going to drink up, leave and would not be making any further purchases at the resort, which was exactly what we did. It was disappointing that the restaurant staff were so amateur in performing their duties and that the manager was not prepared to listen to their customers, who had a legitimate grievance. Very disappointed and will not be returning to Amendoeira Golf Resort."

"Vi tillbringade elva nätter på hotellet.Alla anställda var mycket vänliga.Frukost hade färskt kokat hela du väntar på omeletter och ägg.Lunch i restaurangen mycket bra.Du kan kyla ner och ha ett trevligt glas vin. Mat i kväll var alltid bra, men vi älskade kvällarna när köttet var ned på BBQ.Stjärnan i hotellet är vårdnadshavaren Tomas.Han är vänlig, effektiv och hans energi är otrolig.Han vill ha en bra tid och gör allt för att hjälpa. Han var borta igår kväll och vi hade hoppats tacka honom men vi återvänder i augusti och ser fram emot att se Tomas"

"This was a perfect hotel for the long weekend break I needed. A small quiet town, fantastic setting (old converted olive grove), exceptional service, tranquil, and an amazing breakfast each day. Yes, there were areas where a little spruce up could be done, but this just added to the quaintness of the place. Loved it. It will be my first choice for a short chill break in the sun in the future."

"Our stay at Vale Fuzeiros Nature Guesthouse was exactly what we expected it to be. Surrounded by trees filled with birds and a herbs garden, the guesthouse breaths nature. Clean and comfortable rooms with full privacy, even if the large (covered) terrace is shared with other guests. Very nice breakfast buffet which made us look forward to it every morning of the week, not to forget the excellent coffee! Although a dinner menu is presented by the guesthouse, there is a typical Portuguese restaurant at only 5' walking distance we love to recommend. The friendly guesthouse personnel gave us valuable tips for daytrips to places worth visiting in Algarve. The ideal trip for everyone who loves to bike and/or walk in nature and along the coastline, or just sit down and read a book, enjoy nature. As a stop during road trip or for longer stay."
