"We initially booked a western style room but we upgraded to a Japanese style room upon checking in as the western style room looked very pathetic and old. The Japanese style room is not much better. There are many tour group staying at this hotel and the meal time is very crowded. The only good thing of this hotel is that all rooms are lake facing and can see the firework (though not very fantastic firework). NOT recommended if you want to spend a night in Lake Toya."

"The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The hotel itself is grand, spacious, and clean, featuring a beautiful design. I especially loved the delicious pudding and the wonderful harp music performance, which was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was also fantastic with a lovely view, though unfortunately, we weren't able to see the fireworks from the hotel. Front desk team is nice and good. For improvement, it would be great if the hotel could provide a pillow menu, and a more detailed room tour upon arrival. Additionally, the restaurant staff during dinner could be a bit warmer and more welcoming, as some of them appeared a bit distant or unhappy. Finally, given the premium price of the hotel, I would much prefer a traditional face-to-face check-out rather than using a self-service machine. Human service feels much more appropriate for a luxury stay.""

"Hotellet ligger framför en av de åtta vyerna av Toyasjön, en mycket vacker sjö.Det finns ingen hiss, så du måste bära dina bagage till ditt rum själv.De har en kaffe- och temaskin nära trappan där du kan få den gratis. Vi önskar bara att sæben och schampo skulle komma i flaskor och inte små förpackningar med engångsbruk."

"I was able to reserve a shuttle bus from Sapporo Station to Manseikaku Hotel for 1,100 yen. It's a 30-minute walk from the hotel entrance to the hotel, so I recommend using a car or taxi app if possible. The interior of the hotel was spacious and clean (though the kitchen utensils could use a little more attention to cleanliness). The onsen on the second floor was particularly large, making it a great place to visit with friends!"
