"De flesta hotell kan lära sig från Red Lion.Posh hotell har fler kupor, över komplexa kaffetillverkare, etc. Kedjor får de flesta saker rätt, men ibland springer de ner eller sjunker på grunderna. Den röda lionen hade alla slangar på rätt plats, kloka ytor på rätt plats, utmärkt TV, enkel dusch och bara två små kupor.Mycket väl tänkt ut och mycket bra värde.Luftkonditioneringen på en av de varmaste dagarna var bra. Luftkonditioneringen på Premier Inn den föregående dagen fungerade inte, rummet var trött, förmodligen inte uppfriskat i 20-år, wifi var snail takt.Så släppt ner. Den röda lionen visade hur det kunde göras korrekt men med ett bra val av öl, en enkel men läckra frukost och mycket bra personal.Så många små men viktiga detaljer hade rätt.Folk som kör här vet vad de gör.Tack!"

"This was a unplanned morning of stay booking that broke up a 6 hour journey. This pub stay was 2 hours from our destination. The Room is lovely, only down side is heat due to it being a hot day which isn’t the pubs fault. Unfortunately they have no availability on our return journey which we would have left our holiday a day earlier on the coast to have a return stop on the way home. Staff are lovely and food is great."

"Hotel is usual Travelodge standard. Access to whole hotel is only by means of a lift. Restaurants in outlet shopping centre don’t open until 9 am so nowhere to go for breakfast, only a McDonalds on nearby roundabout, Food offering in centre also has a very limited choice for an evening meal. There are pubs in the town, but you may need to go by car as it is a 30 minute walk. Car park outside is conevenient."

"My friend and I stayed at The Mansion House Hotel when we attended a concert at The Sandringham Estate. We arrived early, (we had contacted Sam earlier to check this would be ok) and received a very warm welcome. Both Sam and her husband were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Our rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast in the morning was substantial! I had some of the choices from the variety of continental options as well as poached eggs on toast. Nothing was too much trouble...Sam made sure gluten free options were available. On arriving home, I realised I had left a couple of items behind and Sam very kindly posted them the following morning! We will definitely stay again when we return to the Peterborough area!"

"We were greeted at the bar by the lovely Millie who showed us too the courtyard room we were staying in and wow we were blown away by the size of the room everything it had! Including a little kitchen with fridge etc and a sofa to watch the large TV! The bed was so comfortable and we had a great sleep! The shower is very large and has great pressure! We will definitely stay here again!"
