Had a cooler week in March but had blankets and heater to stay warm. Right across the road from the strip when its open for the season. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade fantastiskt bra, och kylen höll allt iskolt, men de gjorde en enorm skillnad i värmen.Den absoluta betoningen på resan för mig, dock?De tjänar Pepsi Max på hotellet! "The hotel is clean and well-maintained, both in the rooms and throughout the common areas. The staff, especially at the pool bar and in housekeeping, were very friendly and helpful. The nearby beach was beautiful and easily accessible, and the pool itself was nice, offering a pleasant place to relax – if you managed to get a pool bed! Unfortunately, towels were left on pool chairs for hours every day (sometimes up to three hours) to reserve spots, making it difficult for others to find a place. People would claim chairs early in the morning and then disappear to get ready, eat breakfast, and have a relaxing morning knowing their favorite pool spot was waiting for them. This went against hotel policy, but management did nothing, even after we raised the issue. This made mornings stressful for us, as we didn’t want to reserve chairs unfairly but still wanted to secure a place by the pool. The hotel seems to be expanding, adding more rooms, which might worsen the already overcrowded pool situation in the future. Happy hunting! :) Further, the hotel itself feels poorly designed and built, with some areas seeming unbalanced or awkwardly arranged. Our room lacked attention to detail; many things were crooked or improperly installed. The phone and TV didn’t work properly however they did fix the TV quickly after we mentioned it. There was also an issue of outside noise due to the lack of a door between the hallway and bedroom and at one point, the power was cut off without any notice, leaving us without electricity and water. It turned out to be planned maintenance and not an emergency, so advance notice would have been appreciated. Another major concern was the lack of understanding regarding dietary needs. There was confusion over vegan and vegetarian dishes – one menu labeled dishes as vegan, while another labeled them as vegetarian. When we asked the staff, they treated the two as the same thing. "Vegan, vegetarian? It's the same!" This is unacceptable, especially for guests with allergies, like those to dairy. Proper training for the staff is urgently needed to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. The surrounding area is heavily touristy and lacks the authenticity one might expect from a more traditional Greek experience. It felt more like a typical charter destination than anything unique or local. In summary, while the hotel has some good qualities, such as its cleanliness, friendly staff, and proximity to a nice beach, several issues need to be addressed – particularly the staff’s understanding of dietary needs and the issue with reserving pool beds, as well as the lack of enough beds for all guests, especially with the upcoming expansion of the hotel. Sadly, we will not be returning."

"another cracking stay with maria /stavros at iraklis apartments bus stop 29 ,stalis,great pool ,lemons on the tree,we always have upper floor 1 bedroom apartment ,self catering ,we have been going since 2018,,bakery next door for bread ,and supermarket /butcher shop,just over the road ,,also very good supermarkets in malia a 5 min bus ride to get more variety ...we go to babel beach bar for swimming in the sea and wi fi /reading when sunbathing ,back for lunch in apartment and swim in pool or off out some where on the bus ,,maria always able to assist you what ever you need we love it there we get left alone to do what we want ,and we will go again and again ,,hope this october too we normally go 3/4 weeks april may and sept /oct ...weathers good over 3/4 weeks ,,22c-35c"

"Vi skickade tio nätter till Dias Apartments i augusti som en familj av fyra med en 16- och nio år gammal.Vi blev fördröjda på grund av att en passagerare inte fick ta sig ombord. Den vackra Mya hälsade på oss vid 2:00 och visade oss till våra rum och erbjöd oss en toalett om vi var hungriga och vi hade en trevlig cool mjuk dryck före sängen.Rummet var rent och tittade väl efter.Vi betalade för luftkonditionering som vi förväntade oss. Poolen var söt, ja det kunde vara upptagen men det hade aldrig några problem med att få en solsäng när vi ville det.Maten var mycket trevlig, all personal, inklusive rengjordarna var söt och vänlig. Maya var så vacker på baren och den vackra katten Bella.Vi gjorde resor till Lassiter, Zeus grotta och olivmjölgård, Knossos Palace och Heraklion stadstur, och Spinalonga och Agios Nikolaos, skulle vi definitivt rekommendera. Laster av vackra restauranger och barer i Stalis.Vi kunde hålla vårt rum på, eftersom vi inte lämnade förrän klockan nio, vilket gjorde en sådan skillnad.Vi skulle definitivt återvända till Dias lägenheter och rekommendera det."

"We have been coming to this town of Stalis on Crete for 30 years and we booked this hotel, which was completed last year, in June, but it is also the last time! Rooms are far too small and you can barely get into the shower, and they charge almost €200 for a hotel room, which is certainly not worth it. Furthermore, the manager and owner are very unfriendly and nothing at all at the resort itself. to experience . It all looks nice in the photos, but this hotel is certainly not worth the price. Advice is not to book this hotel, there are much nicer hotels or apartments on Stalis and also for a different price there."
