The rooftop white terrace offered stunning views and was lush with greenery—perfect for taking photos. The service was also very attentive. The breakfast was simple but of excellent quality. If the Wi-Fi speed is slow, you can easily switch to another network. This was the best value hotel I booked in Bolivia."

"Amazing B&B right in the heart of Sucre while feeling like a private little oasis. Carmen is a wonderful hosts and goes out of her way to ensure that your stay in Sucre is as special as possible. Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful courtyard/garden area. I spent a wonderful day reading in the garden on the deck chairs. Wonderful place to relax and recover after visiting the salt flats before heading towards la Paz and Lake Titicaca. Sucre is beautiful and you would be missing out to stay anywhere else while you are here!"

"Villa Antigua is very nice hotel located in the centre of Sucre. Built in the 18-sixties as a mansion, it was completely renovated in 2009. The hotel offers 21 rooms over 3 floors, and has a garden, a nice patio, a large top floor terracce, a gym & steambath, a breakfast restaurant, and a charming café. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was adequately furnished & decorated, with table & chair, TV & fridge, a high ceiling, wardrobe & safe, and a good queensize doublebed. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower over the bath. The large window opens into the patio but has no mosquito screen. All was very clean. The buffet breakfast is good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, cereals, yoghurt & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found Vila Antigua comfortable and very quiet and we had a good stay. Good value-for-money. Highly recommended."

"Pros: Stor plats, alla huvudattraktioner är ungefär en 10-15 minuters promenad Delikat och omfattande frukost med några bolivianska specialiteter (knappa inte bort den purpura majsdrycken och utsikten från matsalen) Mycket bekväm säng WiFi fungerade bra Cons: Frukosttimmar är lite förvirrande, frontdesk och teckna på dörren säger 7:30 är men dörrarna är öppna mycket tidigare med gäster som görs vid starttid. Vi hade en tidig start för dagresa så vi bad om tidig frukost, vi fick en grundläggande frukost i vårt rum natten innan.Vi uppskattade frukost i rummet, men den sittande frukosten var mycket bättre."

"This is simply one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Airy, sunny rooms cooled by gentle breezes high above the city. Quiet private accommodations within a large well landscaped walled compound. Easily within walking distance of this delightful world heritage city. This is the epitome of a small boutique B & B. The hosts are lifetime sucre residents who make sure their guests are well cared for. Don’t hesitate to book this one. We spent 5 nights here and wish it had been longer!"

"Smuts, klädsel, buller, olycklig elektrisk installation i badrummet. I detta 4-stjärniga hotell har värdpersonal nästan inte engelska! Använda en översättare på deras mobil. De enda positiva punkter som motiverar mina två stjärnor: Personalen verkar utsättas för de problem som nämns och är till och med störda. Deras vänlighet och "reaktivitet" är att betona. Together with the salt hotel, it was the most beautiful place we stayed at in Bolivia. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were also very helpful and assisted us with arranging our onward travel to Potosí."

"Vår vistelse översteg våra förväntningar.Väl belägen, ungefär en 15-minute gå till huvudtorget på en tyst gata med en vacker gård.Egenskap mycket säker, huvuddörr låst alltid. Receptionen är utrustad med vackra människor som ger tillgång som krävs.Kyl, säkerhet och kaffe (avgift för kaffebönor).Inget luftkonditionering, men rummen kyls snabbt på natten med ett fönster öppet (ingen buggar). Ingen hiss om du har ett rum på andra eller tredje våningen.Frukost var en glädje.Tredje våningens plats ger dig stora utsikter.Maten är tillgänglig på samma plats, och det finns en liten bar på golvet över från receptionen. Från traditionell blå majsdryck till kaffealternativ, en levande station med de mest fluffierade ägg jag någonsin ätit, frukt, gräsmattar och ett sortiment bröd. "
